Anyone is like me?

I am a girl but I tend to lean more towards girl artistes than guys and i'm more willing to purchase the girl's than the guy's. I also tend to judge more harshly like their style, looks and everything (To me, artistes should be close to perfection ) If they have the whole package (very fancy style..sometimes so fancy I could feel that they are burning inside of their thick pile of makeup and thick huge clothes , or very beautiful, talented (writes their own lyrics or compose their own music), creative and a good versatile voice)

Here's my favourites:

Koda Kumi
Olivia Lufkin
Ayumi Hamasaki (Her old stuff only)
Vivian Hsu

I do like guys too and I do purchase stuff like Jay chou (I only like his music not him ) But I dropped him because he;s not that interesting to me. Haha is anyone like me?

I like mostly Ayu when it comes to female artists. J-Rock dominates my playlist along with Ayu...so I guess I'm the opposite of you.

i can relate, lol. for girl artists, i care more about the music than looks. but for my boys (JE REPRESENT ) i care a bit too much on looks, haha. since i'm "into" guys, i love looking at a very attractive one. but i kinda grew out of that little phase and now i care about both the looks and the music.

lol i listen to a lot more females than males
i listen more to females in jpop, but i listen to a variety in cpop, though it's weird..i like to sing along with the lyrics, but sometimes the male lyrics..well singing it just makes me feel all weird, like i'm singing a love song to a girl @_@..get the point?
so i prefer females

I only listen to female artists. There are so few exceptions to that that I just say I don't listen to male artists. I just don't get anything from their music. Like a song by a female singer can inspire so many great feelings in me, but I could care less about a male singing; it's just like noise to me.

I really only listen to female artists. The only male artist that I can say I truly enjoy is EXILE.

I don't really listen to a lot of female artist, I suppose it because I'm more into rock music, which are generally from male artists, not that females artist don't have rock songs, I just prefer hard rock, metal type of sounds compared to the type of music female artist generally release. The only female artist I really listen to is Ayu, she more or less an exception when it comes to most of the music I listen to, other then Ayu I like some of ayaka songs. I enjoy listen to rock songs but sometimes I may feel like listening to ballads, and I really like the ones ayaka has release, (eg. Mikazuki, I believe, for today, why). But other then that I don't really like female artist to much.
However I like to listen to artist who actually write their songs, and can actually play instrument. I really can't stand boy bands, no offense to anyone, but anyone can get voice lesson and learn to sing, writing songs good ones are on a whole different level IMO, because I've try composing and it can be hard to write a good song.

I like female artists and male artists...I like my female artists to be fashionistas with good vocals and *more importantly* things to say in their songs---hence why I like Ayu-chan & Mak-kun.

As for male artists...I gotta like how their voice sounds, and then I look at what they look like. I prefer androgyny over masculinity when it comes down to Asian musicians...but if they've got the whole package, I'm in love with them anyway.

I know it sounds vain, but I like nice guys...Just not as much as hot Asian guys.

i guess it boils down to personal preferences . when I started to listen to jpop , at 1st it was all those female solo acts

I gradually add jrock bands , a male solo act ala Ken Hirai to the mix since my younger sister was complaining on how boring I was .

Johnny's Entertainment didn't came knocking on my door til late May & that's when things just snowball to a whole new level

I'm also am a woman who prefers female vocalists over male vocalists. The only real exception is Darren Hayes, but then again he sound very feminine at times.

I almost exclusively listen to female vocalists, although of course there are some male acts that I enjoy as well. (Although Gackt is the only one I listen to FOR the vocals) Like bondingo I just don't get anything out of guy acts. Probably has something to do with the fact I'm not into guys.

But the again, female vocals and style are just beautiful. =)
