Why out of all her AMAZING songs In The Corner? The song is so short, flat, silly, unimaginative, meaningless, omg. >_<

And I love SCAR but it's not as good as many of the songs she hasn't done yet like Will, JEWEL, still alone and momentum. :/

She used the title and composition of sweetbox's song (which she liked therefore she made it in her version).
The arrangement is also different.

No..Ayu didn't write the song. She wrote the lyrics.

When i wrote "wrote the song" I meant lyrics =D. Sorry for the misunderstanding ^-^.

Yeah it's the almost the same arrangement, and if ayu wrote the song's lyrics, everything's good.
It's also a nice song and I like that it's shorter than the others.
I think that sweetbox's In The Corner is even shorter (since maybe it was just a demo or something).
But you said that it's not ayu's song... all of ayu's songs that aren't CREA aren't composed by her so I didn't understand what did you mean that it's not ayu's song, unless if you just meant that she used that song just with her lyrics.

The sweetbox song is a RAW DEMO and it was never released on any of the sweetbox studio albums. Ayu just used GEO's composition, as she also did with many other compositors and wrote the lyrics that she felt match the melody the best as she did with many other songs, nothing weird/wrong about that.

@Tal - the sweetbox songs are usually shorter than 4 minutes, Jade's In the Corner was 3:08 while Ayu's was 3:22.

Because it's a cover? Same goes for Bold & Delicious, Ladies Night, Rainy Day, Beautiful Day and Pride.

Ayu hardly ever composes anyway, so it's not like it's that much different. Only difference is it's a cover, so the composition was released before.

I mean that I don't consider songs that are actually an other artist's as hers. When a new Ayu song is composed, it is composed with taking Ayu into consideration and what she wants. In The Corner didn't get this, as it is just one of Sweetbox's songs. Therefor I do not think the cover songs hold as much value as her other songs, though I do like Ladies Night and rainy day a lot.

Yes, I have that album of Sweetbox. It's on Raw Treasures btw, not RAW DEMO. ^^ But like I said above, the song wasn't composed with Ayu's lyrics and view in mind, so it's less personal. And it actually is a cover, as it was released on an album by Sweetbox, studio album or not.

Though she said she likes the song, I hope she doesn't see it as one of her "babies" and doesn't perform it. XD If any unperformed song is her baby it'd be Will or still alone.

She said herself that she receives a bunch of compositions when she wants to make a new song, chooses some and then write the lyrics. So that's never the case anyway.

I do own the album as well and I know it's title I was just stating that the song wasn't really finished but that it was a RAW DEMO.

And that was the only song that was released prior to (miss)understood album, ADDICTED came out on March the 3rd, even tough Jade performed the songs before mu was actually released ^^ And we shouldn't go there again XD

With not going there do you mean a discussion about that it's bad for her to choose Sweetbox covers? Because I really don't mind or anything, but it is one of the reasons why I'm really disappointed with the choice if she goes for In The Corner, with so many more meaningful songs.

Yeah, I was among rare people on sweetbox's Official Boards who thought Ayu has done a better job with the songs, so I got tired of all that SB x Ayu talk XD

And I would also like to hear songs like HANABI episode II, Will, Liar, PS, PSII etc.
