Gunjou's still not listed anywhere, if it is this drama-tie in, though, we can assume it's a regular single, not a charity single. Maybe, but not because of CD sales or downloads as far as I can see. In fact the last time there was a financial crisis with a recession in Japan CD sales were sky high, it was right around ayumi's peak (2001). When the economy got better, sales slumped.

It's a theory that people spend a little more on inexpensive entertainment to escape reality during bad financial times, music, photo books, concerts. Tsunku even wrote a song about it back in 2001 for MM (LOVE machine )
