Ayu's secret to happiness?

I just want to comment about her "Secret" thing.


like she said, "we all have secrets". I don't think that we will hear her secret ever, or maybe we all have already, her songs are pieces of her heart to us, the lyrics are what she wants to tell us, so in someway theyre all "Secrets" from ayu ^^

secrets are just part of us, we are not telling everyone what we are thinking inside all the time. sometimes we feel like we have to tell someone about something, but we don't do it, because that may hurt that person, so thats a secret already.

even we "lie to ourselves" sometimes, and keep that as a secret inside of us.

XD Yeah, she said she loves the "pssh" sound when you open a can, lol And I read somewhere that she has a mini-fridge in her apartment full of nothing but beer. XD

I think it's three things:

- being positive
- self-confidence/acceptance
- ability to say which things are important and which are not

That would make anyone stronger and happier.

Well, I think Ayu is a very strong person. She has had a lot of hardship in her life, which some people seem to think she hasn't had that hard of a life...you obviously do not read things she has said about her life. She works hard, she has close friends and family, and of course fans. Everything to help her be a happy person. The more support you have, the better you are.

Of course money, shopping and living the life of a star has its perks, but it also has it's drawbacks. None of that can make you truly happy. In showbiz you never know who your real friends are, or who is just using your image to better themselves. I'm sure Ayu has had plenty of that in her time, and weeded those people out of her life.

I think 3 things:

1) Her constant hard work (no time to sit and mope around when you've got things to do!)

2) Being able to let her emotions out (Heart felt song lyrics are always the best!)

3) Like many people are saying, those who are close to her.

I would say that there are definitely a lot of things going on, that makes her so strong and happy, always.

Firstly, her close friends. Her dancers, staff, and Mika-John. IMO, these people really give her a lot of support and courage, by being by her side and encouraging her.

Next, her career. We, the fans, provide a happiness for her, I guess. Knowing that your work is appreciated and even inspiring is a very good feeling. Also, through composing/song-writing, she vents out a lot of her feelings in her heart. This is like the ultimate free and good method to de-stress, the other methods being taking drugs and smoking.

Honestly, I think her lyrics are actually really... like her auto-biography if you get what I mean. Her recent songs, glitter/Days, contain a line that has this meaning:

"There are nights when I feel terrible."

I think she was really speaking the truth while writing that. Like she appears strong and happy, but obviously there has to be some nights when she's just alone on her bed and thinking... maybe even crying because of truths she doesn't want to accept, but has to, because that's reality.

Maybe by beginning to just accept whatever that's thrown at her (break up with Tomoya, close friend's suicide, loss of hearing in left ear etc)... makes her a much stronger and happier person who can take things in her stride. Not forgetting her tough life before being a star as well.
