that old woman is so nationalist. In her view, not in English is no good.
Such a narrowed mind Canadian.Shame to say that with this kind of people saying such thing, "Toronto is the most diverse city in the world."

I would like to see people reaction while they watch Koda's live performance, esp Cute Honey. grab boob sense. That action is a must-do.

Haha, great idea, Ayu publicity!!!

...Miley Cyrus... seriously?... that's just sad. ... Ayu... 30.. Miley... 16?

That just shows how young she looks. ...
or he's just not very bright.

That's seriously awesome. I'd love to be the one to watch reactions to Ayu's videos! Not only for curiosity, but for laughs! Like the guy thinking it was Miley Cyrus!

Sadly, this is true. It's such a shame, too. Why can't any foreign language be viewed as beautiful? I find it that way all the time. Seriously, a friend of mine was showing me a jazz song that was sung in French. Granted, she's my best friend, but I found it beautiful and I'm sure anyone else would've as well. But if I showed some beautiful pop ballad in Japanese to someone, I'd be viewed as the weird child.

I hate to say that I think the move of anime into North America from Japan is part of the problem. Once people hear Japanese music, they automatically connect it with anime, which is viewed as nerdy in our society.

Oh, well. I still love Ayu.

This is a good idea, but I'm not optimistic about you making many new ayufans!!!

The only time I've seen ayu on a tv in a public place in the UK was in Newcastle, I was walking around trying to find this old music shop I remembered which I thought might have some imported stuff; i.e. ayu. and suddenly I saw her, it was AT 06 playing on a big tv in this place I just happened to be walking past. I was shocked and so happy!!! It turned out to be a japanese restaurant, and I went in to ask them where they got the DVD from, they said the internet, so I left dissappointed (I already got my stuff from yesasia back then) I considered having some food there so I could sit and watch, but it was expensive and I was suppose to be meeting a friend.

There was something special about seeing her randomly in the UK though.

I always though if I ever owned a bar i'd put ayu on a lot, and probably go out of business.lol.

Anyway, evolution ricky, I like your idea, keep us posted.
Anyone else got access to public broadcasting? we'll see what other reactions we can get...

I had a wallpaper up on my computer of the photos from the A BEST 2 -WHITE- booklet and someone mistook Ayu for Tila Tequila. I didn't know who Tila was but I found out a week later and I came back into class and said to the person, "ARE YOU BLIND???" xD;;;;;;;;

Funny social experiment, I wish I could try that!

Anyways, this is awesome!! Please keep posting more! I would have loved to try something like this when I was in retail.
Oh yes, I use that word quite a lot when I describe reaction to music from a foreign country here in the U.S. It just about sums up everything. Ayu's music isn't the kind of thing I think most people would appreciate here anyway...not to offend anyone or her for the matter. She's got her own unique style that just wouldn't fly here. It's all right...she still has a multitude of fans in the states that would absolutely mob her if word got out she was coming here for something...

Oops lol. Regardless of if it's Canada or the U.S. the reaction would have been the same...maybe worse here. I guess what I'm trying to say is people are too narrow-minded and conceited here.
