It was great! Her singing was fantastic! And Mirrorcle World was superbly done! I hope the DVD version is this good because I could have had this performance on DVD and been happy!

In the Japan legs, Ayu sang the whole of (don't) Leave me alone on the spinning wheel.

In the Asian legs however, she sang a portion of the song on the wheel, and then got off the wheel and sang the rest on the stage, walking around.

They really should have put (don't) Leave me alone... but Ayu edited it too, right? Maybe it'll be in the DVD.

And I watched Marionette on youtube, and I must say I prefer her hair in the video than the GREEN one. And yeah, it doesn't sound very lip-synched if you ask me... Peco totally overpowered Ayu in the first chorus, and then she was like breathing heavily at the last part...

But again, she sounded so perfect at some parts, like the bridge... but she wasn't moving during that part so... I don't know. Oh well, who cares. It's an awesome performance, and one shot of ZIN roaring looks like he's a lion lol.

I think it would be boring if she were on the wheel the whole time, I'm glad she got off...

In Japan, she sang some parts spinning... In Asian leg, she didn't... When she sang the wheel wasn't moving...

It's gonna be lol if they used same vocal track for Marionette in asia leg.

But yea, in Japan she sang while the wheel spinned. She didn't in Japan. Hopefully that means that in Asia (d)Lma WAS live but doubtful, it sounded very lip synched.

hmmm? In Japan she only sang part of the song on the wheel. It's the same as it was in Asia.

The show was her usual standard I thought, I wasn't disappointed at all. She delivered.

That Marionette wig was really awful though, I get she wanted to look like the PV, but I think it looked rather silly. Her awesome dolly movements saved it for me though.

Am I the only one who thinks they spent way too much camera time on her dancers and band members and not enough on her? Peco and Princess got a lot of airtime and her dancers took up like half of Marionette and SURREAL-evolution-SURREAL. I don't know if it was intentionally done in editing, with ayu requesting it because she loves them, but come on... it's "ayumi hamasaki" not "ayumi hamasaki & company"

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought she wanted to show others who were as much apart of the show as her? Like the fans/dancers maybe? I dunno... but that could be why...

Well, at least during Marionette the dancer close-ups are appropriate, all of them showing just as much emotion as Ayu, and I guess that was part of impact of the performance. Although yeah, SURREAL-evolution-SURREAL was kind of "Eh? Where's Ayu?" Especially since she was with Peco and Princess most of the time, not with the dancers, lol. It was hard to find her at that time XD

^I agree 100%! I was thinking that there weren't enough shots of Ayu.

Ayu considers "ayumi hamasaki" to encompass everyone on her team, she goes as far to refer to "ayumi hamasaki" as a "we" not a "me"

That's good for her and them and all, but I really don't give a crap about them. I don't know how the Japanese fans feel about them, if they all love them and expect to see a lot of them too, but I really wish she would put them back as background dancers and backup singers.

From some of the performances broadcast in this live, outsiders who know nothing about ayu would've probably thought it was a trio performing, not a solo artist.

^ I see what you're saying, but I kind of disagree.

I love how Ayu puts her people in the forefront and makes them just as important in the show as herself. Because it's really ALL of them that puts on a great show, not just her =/ At least that's the way I look at it.

I mean you see a lot of artist now a days where it's always "me me me me me me me" and that's all you see. No one ever sees how hard the people in the background work to help make the artist the best they can be.

I totally appreciate that Ayu feels they are a team! I know you and maybe some others may not care, but don't you think it is better for her to acknowledge them instead of just taking ALL the credit?

Part of the reason of her having a loyal team is probably because they like each other and appreciate the credit they're given by her, but at this point, the credit is at least 50/50 shared between her and her team. It's her name, they should expect her to take a lot of credit for that reason.

That's true ^^; But what's so bad about that? She and her team of producers make the songs, her staff helps her translate the songs into a great stage performance... the work IS kind of 50/50. It's like she's the spokes person for Team Ayu (her and her staff, not the fanclub). Her talents + help of her staff = Ayumi Hamasaki.

I really think she sounded just okay for marionette, nothing special.. ahaha.
marionette is really easy to sing though.. with her current vocal.
So~~ I didnt expect anything great with that vocal, ahaha
I dont think it was lipsynced. The first dou ka~ was off pitch and out of breath.
At least fix that one if you would lipsync.. ahaha.
But did you notice at the beginning of second verse..
Something happens with the voice... like an editing.
I cant explain it.. it's a very weird thing.. like two ayu voices.

however, is this love was sooo good.. I wasnt expecting that one!!!

but it sounded sometimes like she wanted to sing the original key.. ahaha..
throughout the concert. ^^~~ and sometimes the lower key is not good for her.

but it was good. sometimes the audio and video are not in sync.. ahah..
like when she is screaming "come on!" for me, the audio is a bit faster. T_T
