I think this must be a person people know even without being interested in asian music, in my case I remember that about five-seven years ago when someone was asking me who's music do I like and I didn't want to waste time explaing I just said Gackt, even without knowing him and everyone was in awe and full of understanding, then I thought that maybe I should really check his music and I was in awe myself :p

Now I'm in the asian music for about five years and still never heard of any Ken and many other names you said here, so my guess is still Gackt.
