Honestly Impact, my post was kind of a quick reaction type thing, and um...yeah, I didn't really mean to just shred everything you said.

Sometimes I get a certain impression about you and relationships, and it's not really appropriate here, so I'm not going to go into it, but sometimes I get defensive about that, and I'm sorry.

I think you're absolutely right...but I mean I can't blame everyone for thinking about Ayu and Nagase what, really could have been real. But yeah...I also don't think some of those people understand the problems that arise in relationships, especially the ones you mentioned at the end of your post.

About Ayu and Nagase making the sibling reason up...I guess it could be false. Seems more reasonable to me to tell everyone that it just didn't work out. Tons of relationships dont, especially with famous people, why would theirs' be any different? I think the sibling reason makes perfect sense...especially if that other girl is saying similar stuff

I think it makes sense too. Many people who are married for 7 years end up feeling the same way - you end up feeling not like lovers anymore and that's what ultimately leads to divorce (or at least they live with feelings of unhappiness in the relationship) In that sense then, it is a very good thing that they didn't get married. I think it is very difficult to keep that lovers passion alive in a 7 year relationship - the people who can do that are truly meant for each other.

I know she's an adult and she decide to broke up with him but she feeling hurt, I guess.
Maybe she thinks 'why he won't marry me after 7 years?'. Inside of her heart there's still feeling about him, I guess.
Not so strong, she's isn't fall in love with him anymore but they remains.
It's natural, she's really sensitive (take a look on her lyrics o_O) after only an year the scar isn't still heal but she's not 'BAAW NOW I SPEND MY DAYS EATING A LOT OF CHOCOLATE SITTING ON THE SOFA AND WATCHING ROMANTIC MOVIES' lol she's strong.

I don't know~ like.. immediately after break up with Nagase, it was talkin' 2 myself.
The lyrics were so heavy and hard, and people were saying "what the heck?"
and she changed her style from happy glitter fashion, to hard rock hairdo, etc.
And after talkin' 2 myself, it was together when..., and then don't leave me alone..

The lyrics in all three of those songs say a different story about the relationships.
And she said she write honestly about her life in those lyrics, so I do think she still felt hurt about that break up.

And now Days? the lyrics are exactly the story now...
And Nagase was in the same FNS program as her. =\
I don't really believe that she was really "all right" and moved on..
I think she wrote that because that what's all Japanese artists write when they break up.
"I am fine, don't worry."

Even Hikaru Utada did that too. =\

Honestly, I think there's a better match for her out there. I think she should be with a guy who is just as successful career-wise. Tomoya is of course a perfectly fine catch (very good-looking, for one), but don't you think he sometimes felt overshadowed by Ayu's career?

I think Ayu should just get together with Koshi Inaba already!

If we are going to take songs in consideration to wonder how ayu feel... some notes:

-Talkin' 2 myself was recorded before glitter, so, it was composed way before the break up...
-Together When is like "I'm sorry but I don't love you anymore and need to dump you"

So... It's not like she is the poor victim abandoned by some bad guy...

I will search for you.

she broke up with nagase in july 13th.

If I'm not mistake, she said once in some of that team ayu messages that she had finished the song before glitter, but probably cause it was near summer, she released a summer single as usual.

About TW, I aways read that song as a broken up song from the view of the person who finished the relationship... like "I'm not happy in finishing this, and I wish I wouldn't, but I'm not in love with you anymore", that was the reason I liked it in the first place cause is not that easy for the one that finished the relation too...

^But you can't deny that ayu is a bigger thing than nagase in japan. I feel that in japan, it's quite important for guys to be at least as successful in their careers than their girlfriend/spouse. It's still a rather chauvanistic society and i'm surprised they lasted so long to be honest. I hope ayu's not too affected by this but nagase's not getting any younger either.

Oh, I'm very well informed about JE, but I don't think Tokio is as big an A-list act for the company as Ayu is for, say, Avex. Kat-tun, Kanjani8, News, Arashi, KinKi Kids, Smap, Hey Say Jump!, those are the top JE acts.

Besides, Tomoya Nagase's career as a dorama actor far outshines his work with Tokio.
