Yeah, I just feel like she was always praised for writing such in depth and thoughtful lyrics, And I feel shallow lyrics are not her at all.. at least, not what she built her artist image to be. These lyrics are very different ... and it is shocking to some people... ahaha. And I dont really think it matters if someone likes koda kumi or leah dizon and complains about this. People listen to Ayumi because her lyrics are meaningful. If we continued to expect something from her, and she did something like make these lyrics.. It's very different, and not used to it. People listen who listen to Koda Kumi and Ayu and are complaining, I understand why. They listen to Koda Kumi for one reason, and Ayu anothers. If Ayu just simply copies a style of erotic lyrics in the way of Koda Kumi, It's weird, and says "oh.. so if she will do it in Koda Kumi style, whats the difference?" I dont know... but I feel uncomfortable with these lyrics. To me, they are not the mature and insightful Ayumi from the past.. It's an image thing. Like for example, from the sample "lyrics" posted in 2 channel. They claim that to describe boys and girls, They use 雌 (mesu) and 雄 (osu), which is soooo weird to me, because she NEVER used that. They are slang for boys and girls, but so.. hard and rough, and a little unbelievable. So instead of 可愛いBoys達と 今夜だけはgirls達も 強がりはおやすみ The sample lyrics being posted many times are: 可愛い雄達と 今夜だけは雌達も 強がりはおやすみ and like that. It was a complete shock... ahaha. |

lol well... what can i say lol fair enough! is what you feel and its ok... ![]() but ayu being sexual is ok for me, and its just a song, its called marketing lol lets see if sexy ayu sells more lol maybe the full album will be like that, who knows but after all, she wont be "sexual" for ever, shes getting older and, i prefer her being sexy right now than when shes 45 lol shes awesome and she proves that she can do ANYTHING, something that others cant, like koda kumi for example, that girl cant be cute i believe... but meh so yea, a sexy song wont kill my "fanness" lol |

Lyrics, singing, arranging, and adding a new element to all the songs, the sublimation of the past 10 years. Continue to evolve to the next stage.. |

i wouldn't mind naughty lyrics. i just hope she won't perform in a thong and a bra.
i love ayu mostly because of her meaningful lyrics but maybe she just wants to have fun after 10 years. and don't most women become more "sexual" when they hit 30?.. i think i saw that on oprah haha XD

Even then, those songs had very clear, and very mature and great meanings. It's hard to correctly express what the feeling is of these lyrics. For example, She uses very vulgar words for male and female, And it feels like.. very disconnected from everything she has ever done before. It's surprising, and a little disappointing for me, and a lot of my friends too.. I think it's hard to correctly express why these lyrics are awkward, Because even if you translate the lyrics, these words sound so normal in English I think. But the words and lyrics that this "sample" uses.. Its too unlike her. But of course, I know quite well that some people here like these sexual and vulgar things, so of course I know what I say will be ridiculed about it.. I don't mind. I just feel like the artist that Hamasaki built up until now, is completely different from these Sparkle lyrics. And since she said there's no lies in her lyrics, then this must be the new her. And.. yeah, for me, it's too much. The integrity of her artistic expressions seem to be breaking down for me, If she turns to these kinds of cheap songs. The reason why I dont listen to those Koda Kumi and her clones.. Is because I hate that kind of things. And now, if she becomes writing this lyrics.. Well, I guess I will just have to listen to her old things. |

I think a lot of people would agree that her lyrics seem to have been getting repetitive. Maybe in 'NEXT LEVEL' she'll tackle more subjects in her lyrics that she hasn't before. I don't think we should jump to the conclusion that she's completely changing her musical direction. But you never know, don't women reach their sexual peak at age 30? LMAO. Guess you beat me to it.
