See: Real me (good lord, worst lyrics ever...), Ladies Night, STEP you, Beautiful Fighters... I think those lyrics are REALLY lame.
You shouldn't talk about things you obviously don't understand. Step you is one of my favourite Ayu songs, since it relates an episode that actually happened in my life a couple of years ago. I fell in love with someone that wasn't fond of me. And it's really hard and painful to keep up a cheerful attitude when you know someone is not interested in you, like Ayu sings in the track.

Eventually, with so much effort, i made the river go into a different direction. This person now has feelings (significant ones, of course ) for me. But it wasn't easy. So i think this can make you realize why i find your "comment" so offensive. i know everyone is in their right to post their opinions, but they should be also respectful with other's interests as well.

I haven't had this excitement from ayu fast song for a long long time. Frankly I don't like recent ayu songs because they are rock. I never like her rock songs that much. And you can guess that I love Sparkle more than Rule. To me Rule is just another typical nowadays ayu rock song.

If the materials NEXT LEVEL is something similar to Sparkle, I will be very satisfied .

I really don't wanna be rude but unfortunately, it's quite clear you don't understand rock music then. It's like saying that just because house and trance are electronic music they're the same thing. Ayu's rock music has never been the same. Someone said Guilty was a metal album because of it's rock songs and that's totally false. There was only one metal inspired song and it was talkin' 2 myself...

Rule is not a rock song. It's a metal song.

Anyway, i still think Rule is better ^_^ though i really enjoy sparkle

Rule is not a rock song. It's a metal song.
Um.. yes and no.

theres a metal influence in t2m, but it is NOT metal. Doesnt even get close.
Hard rock, it is. Metal is classified by diverse, rapid changes in the guitar, and that only happens during the bridge, which wouldnt really meet the standard of metal. Try looking up Gorgoroth, you will see true metal.

Rule is best said as rock pop, or maybe even regular rock.

btw, love Sparkle. Very Britney indeed!
reminds me of something out of Blackout or Circus.

but yeah, not all rock is the same.

Really depends how you look at it. Why get down into the nitty-gritty and the specifics? Rock/pop or pop/rock is more than good enough. I would hardly classify any of her songs as metal if you compare it to "true metal"...the song structure and the instruments aren't the only thing that should go into determining these things either. The ambience associated with each song matters too. I think it's safe to classify all of her songs under the general category of "pop" music, because that's exactly what it is! The very core is "pop" before it is anything else.

I said the "metal" thing, but it wasn't like "Guilty album is full of metal song", I said guilty songs were influenced by metal, but they are pop-rock... Lady Eowyn (my favorite LOTR character :B), aren't Decision and Marionette metal influenced too? Decision maybe, but I can hear a lot of metal influence on Marionette (but maybe I'm wrong, not a Metal fan anyway...)

The same with 1love and until that day when I showed them to a friend that plays in a hard rock band, he said "hmmm this music have some hard rock on it, even if this is pop"
Another friend of mine said that rule sounded alot like some jrock bands...

As Eowyn said, ayu's "rock" isn't inspired only on a kind of rock... I reallt can't understand anyone that says that her rockish songs sound all the same...

There are many nice parts.. but a few that are too overwhelming. And I don't have to hear "no no no" like 30 times. But overall I like the song.

I thought something was wrong with the file when I first heard it. That "scratching" at the beginning was pretty scary.

I have to say that I was quite impressed with the full version! You know how when you hear the preview (usually the chorus), you then wonder about the verses? I was wondering about them and didn't really have low or high expectations, but they were better than I imagined!

This song is pretty kick butt.

I've just downloaded it last night, and got addicted to it...
I wasn't expecting that "Sparkle" would be this good.. It was way different from her songs lately. And the lyrics are really beautiful. Techno rules!

And Sparkle also had a greater impact on me than Rule... (Rule took me a day or two to be addictive to me..) This one... First 1 minute! This really is good. I'm wishing this had a PV instead.

No no no...

"If you do it only half way, then it doesn't tell me anything.
If you don't try to touch, then I don't understand.
Until when do you plan on doing that,
And be seized with fear?"

My words exactly. And just imagine, when Rule already being a kick-*butt* song, how I feel about Sparkle.

It's a really REALLY good song. It feels like she's really put her heart and head in it, with no restraint to express herself at all. And that's the Ayu I admire.

i ABSOLUTELY Love it

i liked it from the CM already, and after reading the lyrics i'm SO scared that it's gonna be another Beautiful Fighters crap (you know, it sounded really good in the CM but turns out to be real crapper in full), but thank God it's not. It's one of the greatest ayu song released recently! definitely different! COOL!!!

i like it better than Rule now, well, both songs are equally great though!!!
