Poor girl. Nobody deserves to be put through the crap she was put through.

I hope Chris Brown's career is over.

I just feel really sad for Rihanna now. Though I don't really listen to her, or no much about anything about her... I just feel that such an act is just inhumane.

This is just...really upsetting. It's such a horrible feeling to want bad things to happen to others...but seriously...this is just not okay.

(I went and bought Good Girl Gone Bad (Reloaded). Sell Me Candy is ridiculously catchy.)

After this incident, Chris Brown has likely lost a good chunk of his fanbase (majority female), although there's guaranteed to be some that will excuse his behavior. It's nice to see Rihanna's sales go up by more than 30% though - at least members of the public support her.

What a sad incident.

^It's stupid the number of celebs who are excusing Chris's behavior. I remember reading that rapper T.I. was acting like it was no big deal, and some other guy, I think from SNL. All of them seem to be black males. I don't mean to turn this into a race issue, but with their attitudes they are adding to the negative stereotype that many decent black guys have to deal with. Stop acting like women are just sexual objects!

Honest question:

I don't like your comment right here. You had the audacity to put a darn "D" at the end of "LIKE" and made it freaking past tense! Where do you get off!?

So tell me, would you advise me to hunt you down and rape your face? You seem to be okay with it no?

Seriously though. You're justifying this with "Not liking something about somebody"?

Everybody in the world would be busted up and swollen if that justification was deemed appropriate by society.

I'm about to go check your profile and if your Birthdate is available you better have been born sometime after Jan. 1, 2009 with thinking patterns like that.

The creepy thing is that people ARE excusing his behavior~ it's sick! I've been reading AOL news, TMZ etc, and a lot of people are behind Chris and his actions... they think Rihanna DID something to make him do what he did.... I feel 100% for Rihanna and no human being deserved to be treated in that matter. Just go to an AOL news board and read all the sick comments, it makes one think about how different people really are in this world (However, it's more like AOL is geared towards people in the US)

Oh my God, you mean... there are people who actually SUPPORT Chris Brown's behavior and think it's OKAY to bash up a woman until her face is in such a condition?

Oh God, just what is our society becoming to? Personally, Chris Brown's actions ARE NOT justified at all. I'm sorry for actually thinking that Rihanna "had it coming" since she knew she had an abusive boyfriend and yet is still tactless with him. I'm really sorry for that.

After seeing the state of Rihanna now... I just feel so offended, shocked and disgusted by Chris Brown. Right now, I really don't care what on earth Rihanna has said to Chris Brown; his actions will NEVER EVER be justified, WHATSOEVER.

And I read my local newspapers today. Apparently, Rihanna is 'appalled' at Chris Brown's "apology" on the net. It contradicts the news I read earlier on in this thread that Rihanna has decided to reconcile with Chris Brown, but I hope the newspapers are right. She should never consider reconciling.

Chris Brown is disgusting, and I hope he goes to jail... I feel really sad for Rihanna. May she recover fast and still be as beautiful as she was.

Chris Brown's "apology" wasn't even that. More than anything, it was a PR response, which is appalling. I understand that his team's goal is to keep his career afloat, although in this case, it's a lose-lose situation for him. Letting out a timid PR response makes him look like trash, but outright admitting what he did and apologizing would prove it was his fault, and he and his team probably aren't ready to take that career risk. Ideally, he'd send a serious apology to Rihanna in private, but I doubt that's happened either.

It's sickening to see parts of the public support him, especially after Rihanna's photo surfaced. She did something to him, and that makes it her fault? Even if she did do something to him, I don't see him in a hospital with bruises, so it's hardly an applicable statement. It's like saying women who wear mini-skirts and tight shirts are asking to be raped, so it's their fault if that happens. I can't believe some of the ridiculousness that goes on in this world. Are men not adults who can be held responsible for their actions?

In the picture it looks like her earrings were ripped off, and her neck has bruising on it. Or maybe it's just me. The picture is so sad. Chris Brown is a bastard.

LOL! But seriously, I've never listened to any of his songs... Rihanna; I've at least heard Good Girl Gone Bad.

Chris called Rihanna to wish her a happy birthday,” an insider tells us. “He’s absolutely trying to get back into her good graces. He knows he’s very much in the doghouse right now, and is doing everything he can to show her how sorry he is.”
But Brown seems to think a few well-placed birthday gifts can salve his ex’s wounds. He has already sent the “Good Girl Gone Bad” singer a diamond bracelet and necklace, an insider tells us, as well as an iPod Touch. Plus, Brown’s mom, Joyce, who is said to adore Rihanna, sent over a bouquet of flowers.
Lmao, I think an ice pack for a present would be best of this occasion

Anyway, I'm on nobody's side, we don't know the full story yet so I'm not calling Rihanna's or Chris' side.

I don't understand it.

there's a difference between being in the "doghouse" for like texting another girl lets say, and being in the doghouse for beating up your current girlfriend.

wth is wrong with these people.

Sources say Chris Brown tried to patch things up with Rihanna by sending her an iPod. Which means he isn’t just a creep, he’s a cheap creep. If someone tried to kill me I’d expect at least an iPhone.

Because an iPod can solve all your problems. Apple would like us to think so, anyway.

Chris, you're gonna have to get on your knees and beg before I think of considering you as anything more than a sick freak.
