it may sound good but... its not

"put your hands up together, keep your hands up together... let me sing forever.." she sings something like that.. in english
Yeah, I read actually that there is supposedly A LOT of English on this album. Way more than RAINBOW.

Sorry guys but can you tell me where do you get to listen (mishidabo?) do the new songs? If you do, is there a way we could have this privillege as well?

And I've read numerous comments now about Curtain Call being gospel like. It's apparently Close to You meets Teddy Bear - could be good.

Yep.

I said it is PART of the reason why. Sure, there are a lot of artists that just release crap and are popular anyways, but those artists don't have longevity like Ayu does.

But I'm not just an "old time fan", if she does something in the present that is good, I say so.

....And I think Audience has amazing lyrics.

I didn't mean for it to come off as fact, so I apologize for that. But I do think that I at least have a strong basis for it and I also know that a lot of people would agree with me.

And thank you jimex289! That is really nice to read especially coming from someone who at least appears that they are a somewhat recent fan. (your forum join date.)
Ok, sorry for that... It's just when people starting saying "she doesn't release good songs like before anymore" to me sounds a little like "you who like she newer songs can't see that she wasn't better before", even if I know you didn't meant this... I have all ayu albums and I listened to all of them... But still, my favorite one is (miss)understood... I can't listen to all A Song for XX (even if I love the title track) and until Rainbow, I can't hear anyone without skipping one or two tracks...

wow....i cannot believe how many people are canceling their preorders simply because there is gonna be 4 interludes...i'm sorry but that is just ridiculous and immature...Once that initial shock wears off you'll change your mind...

and if you did do that your obviously not a true ayu fan. She put a lot of work into this album....and she's never let me down before. I don't know why people assume less time for an album means crappy songs. I know tons of people who excel under pressure, myself included.

as for the 4 interludes, I am not angry nor happy. The more the merrier.

it just bugs me so much how people are handling this. Ok i've vented.

can someone please translate as many comments as possible from the japanese people...I'm really curious as to what they think ^_^.

It seems like a lot of the comments being made about the album have been made from the same group of people whether they have listened to the tracks yet or are just being ignorant and that is people think that Ayu sort of lost her way after Memorial Address. Well for me, Ayu started doing her best work on My Story and has not really stopped since.

Boo hoo about interludes, get over it. They fit perfectly fine on her past albums and have complimented each lead in track perfectly. As far as I'm concerned, Next Level is just going to be another evolution of her sound and I cannot wait to hear the new tracks and what she has planned for the future.

Seriously... Why would you guys cancel your preorders? You might find that these are the COOLEST interludes ever! And the full songs could be awesome. And watch the PVs be absolutely amazing.

Oh, well. That's your choice. More of a chance for others to get those special prizes.*

* Maybe not really, I don't know how the whole preordering thing works. But you know what I mean!

i am highly amused and disgusted by the people here saying they're canceling their order over something like this. especially when we don't even have official confirmation that those are for sure interludes.

i don't really see how people can call themselves fans if they react to something so small like this. it's...for a lack of a better term...STUPID!

are you saying that songs like marionette, mirrorcle world, until that day, Rule etc are all crappy songs?! You must be one of those "fans" stuck in her past.

i honestly believe that if you enjoy secret & guilty , you are gonna like this album. its not really that different, just added some techno samples to the songs.. thats it.

not gonna say anymore, nor discuss my musical taste with you either

I need to go eat dinner, but I'll try to translate more later.

The gist so far though:

EnergizE is HoneyxAngel's Song + a billion apparently.
Curtain Call sounds like a mix between Teddy Bear and Close to You. A piano ballad with gospel flair.
Love'n'Hate seems like the track with the most positive feedback so far.
Rollin' I haven't seen too much about, so like Mishidabo says, it may just be very average sounding.
There is quite a bit of English on the album, probably more than any other album she has done.
Some of the lyrics that people know so far they are not entirely happy with (probably has something to do with the amount of English too.)

Well that's disappointing. There are some individual tracks on those albums that I love (especially on Secret), but overall as albums, they are some of my least favorite.

@mishidabo ~ for me, i think the Secret album is my favorite, even though not all songs caught my attention to the fullest, most of them did.

i think cancel the order is a good way to say what you think about it. some people want buying full songs not short melodies.
This is the most stupid comment ever, seriously =_=

Not really. I mean if you want to make a statement about what you like and don't like from an artist, the best way to do that is to not buy the product. For example, I haven't preordered any version of this album yet. I will for sure buy it, but I'm waiting to see the PVs first to decide whether to buy the DVD version or not. If they are mediocre, I'm not going to buy the DVD version because I don't want to encourage the same type of product in the future.

I do think though that it is a bit silly to cancel the orders though before you even hear the album. At least listen to it first and then make your decision. But since these are preorders and the album is being released shortly, maybe they HAVE to cancel it since they might not have a chance to listen to the album first before their order actually ships.

Alright, now I'm outta here for a while!
