I think some people might be saying that Rihanna provoked it because there have been statements made saying that Rihanna was really jealous and clingy to Chris and she would get easily upset over a lot of things. There were also reports that she hit him first, although I am not saying that gives him any right to do what he did. And maybe some people just find her annoying.
