Great news! Since they're counting the copies shipped, the 500k includes all the copies sold through YA and other stores that don't count Oricon sales!
I think the situation is better than "there are 200k unsold copies in shops". Not all stores send in details for Oricon!!!
True... it makes me feel a bit better about buying through YA sometimes.
