I can kinda relate to that.... back when I first started listening to Jpop, that was all I liked... people like Ayu, Namie, Hikki, and Aikawa were some of the only singers I ever listened to til mid-2002 when I heard songs from ELT (namely, ELT Trance) and had to find more songs like it!
