Have you ever lost interest in J-pop?

i did for about a year? i started really hating ayu after she released MY STORY. so i took a break from her/j-pop, i wasn't really a huge fan of any other j-pop artists. then i came back and became a huge koda kumi freak, caught back up on ayu and loved her new releases so much that i got back into my ayu obsession. then i discovered a lot of other j-pop artists i love now! so yeah i have lost interest before but now i'm very interested in it and even if i'm disappointed by a release from one of my favorite artists there's usually another one just around the corner to look forward to. but ayu will mainly keep my interest in it, she's really good at not disappointing me
