If Ayu's and Namie's music were in anyway similar it would be ok to say so, but since Namie did eurobeat and her lyrics were very different I'd say that's unlikely, plus Ayu's albums sold way better than Namie's in her peak, which means there were around 2+ million people who didn't buy Namie's albums but liked Ayu.

*sigh* obviously someone didn't get the point : ( The point is you shouldn't label other artists as fan stealers just because you don't like them. Its offensive to fans of that artist and rude. Anyways music similarity is subjective if I'm not mistakened. I don't think THSK songs sound similar to JE songs at all, but I personally think some of namie's music at that time and ayu's do share similarities. Not a lot but some songs do. Thats just an opinion v_v. So lets not label other artists as fan stealers, and then make ayu an exception. How about we make it even and just say all artists can recruit new fans : ). I think thats a better way to view it : D

Anyways I don't think Next Level will beat Trick because Ayu's sales position might be steadier but her sales is declining pretty steadily. Thats just my guess, but I think the sales difference isn't that huge for it to be impossible. we'll see : D. Go Ayu! Show us what your album is made of haha

I didn't say DBSK stole anyone's fans ^^ DBSK occasionally have songs that some of the JE groups could do, but their music is pretty different than what most of the JE's are doing. I like DBSK (at least some of their stuff).

Namie and Ayu are like Rikku and Sora. I was just saying that you can't say that Ayu only took over the Namie fans as Ayu had way more people buying her albums than Namie did, while DBSK still aren't selling better than most of the JE acts.

^ oh ok I'm fine with that then : ) I jsut thought u were saying that DBSK stole JE fans which is really silly. Sorry for the misunderstanding on my side haha.

Truehappiness, this is what you think. Obviously, all singers steal fans from other singers no matter what. There are only so many fans out there. But u just can't conclude that THSK is riding off JE's popularity because u think so v_v If that was to be true they'd be popular at debut wouldn't they v_v they obviously took the time to release good music that caught people's attention to gain a fanbase that is slowly growing v_v btw I don't get how people can't understand that i just set that as an example -_-" I'm not saying ayu actaully stole all of namie's fan to become popular =_=" and honestly you really don't know if namie's fan base was all that different fromy ayu's. Let's at least be honest about that. People can like more than one singer. Ayu did gain A TON of her successand peak after namie's leave so this could mean that ayu did gain a lot of her fans from namie's leave and might've became the Queen of Jpop with the support of her original fans + namie's fans who turned to ayu after namie took a small break. I'm not saying this is true, but its a possibility. If you think about it the image they posed as the queen of avex, fashion divas, jpop with love ballads, strong independent women, there are similarities between the two artist. Which shows how u cant just assume one artist steals fans from another to gain sales v_v. Just because THSK is a boyband after JE was created doesn't mean they are living from stealing fans or copying them or w.e. v_v If JE had all the fangirls how do expect EXILE and other groups to sell that aren't all JE like. People like variety you know v_v and not everyone is going to like the same things. lets not just jump to conclusions for one artist and make an exception for ayu because that is totally unfair : ( If its your opinion then fine, but I mean lets just not make it into a fact next time : )

and interesting fact ayu_fan926! I never really stayed in touch with trick's sales cuz i'm not really a kuu fan. :O I guess it does show some hope of ayu overselling trick : )
