^ I'm sure you can on DVDs, but you can't at VCDs

My Chinese friend bought me a VCD once, I'll try it on my Playstation 2 right now.

and.. it doesn't work.

but even in my DVD player, the quality sucks. I have to disagree with that someone here said it's a "little" worse, but for my VCD it's actually much worse. almost like I'm looking at a youtube video.

I don't know if that's the case for all VCD's, but I suggest you go with DVD's anyway

you'll be sure of good quality.

I wish I had have waited for the overseas - it's so much cheaper!!

DVDs getting subbed for Taiwan version?

actually, im so used to reading the translation sheet as she talks that i might not be excited for subs....as long as the quality is not compromised then i wouldnt mind

I know for Taiwan presses for Johnny's DVDs come with inbuilt traditional chinese subtitles

maybe avex Taiwan got the cue from them in a way or so ?

i got the jp version either, but i don't mind, as this is a concert i want of the best quality, and the paper quality if poorer too on the OS version, soi'm happy with it, plus i got a discount of 3000yen at cdjapan with my points.

i think it's the taiwanese who are complaining, most of them prefer the subtitles on the screen. The chinese at ayuchina were so happy with the news

yeah, its impossible to get the same quality in 4 CDs you get in 2 DVDs, pcdl takes up 11(or 13, i forgot) GBs, one cd has 700MBs, so 4 CDs have 2,8GB space on them, means around 1/4 quality, quality is basically around the rips you find on this forum, its nice to watch, but nothing compared to DVD quality

Yes.

Usually the first disc is around 7GB and the 2nd is a little less, but with PCDL, it's about the same for both.

I'm gonna be getting OS versions in the future.. haha.

i'm still looking for TW version.hopefully yesasia or playasia will have stock for TW version
