that's true

they prove the point in that it's important when comes to releasing of singles in that

1) multiple versions are handy
2) strong tie in for a drama/anime will help raise awareness for sales

in which Hana Kagari more or less demonstrate as to why it didn't chart at all T_T

pity because I really like the song

OH I thought Hana Kagari didn't charted in the Oricon

but it actually did o_O at #47 according to http://j-ongaku.org/wiki/ON/OFF#Albums

it beats not being charted at all & at least it's not their worst performing single to date (it goes to their debut Eien no Setsuna)

& speaking of Hana Kagari , a promo pic of them

Kazuya still looks cuter than Naoya to me

Its good to know that it charted atleast. It was really good (of course it deserved a higher position but still, its a start) I wanna see these guys get #1's!!!

I was going o_O when I heard Hana Kagari's B-side ie. Hane Kaesu Yuuki

it's so different from the A-side & it's quite cheesy here & there but since it's summer inspired & it's summer right now in Japan (no differences in season in S'pore) , guess I can cut some slack on this

I really love Rinne Rondo and Futatsu No Kodo To Akai Tsumi. They're amazing openings.
But Eien no Setsuna is just terrible and I can't stand it. The B-side is even worse.

I must listen to Hana Kagari, even though I've got a feeling they can't do nothing properly out of VK.

I agreee!!
Eien no Setsuna wasn't even half as good as those two VK openings!! But Hana Kagiri was really good, so was their album! You should check it out

the twin brothers's full discography has been added & posted in AHS

everyone can help him/herself to it

& for the record , I LOVE Eien no Setsuna period

it's more or less the song that started their musi career even though I can't deny the fact that the 2 vampire knight & vampire knight guilty songs were the ones that make people sit up & take notice of them

I mean, I like Eien no Setsuna but no where close to Futatsu or Rondo.

I love LOST for some reason, they tried something new, and the vocals were really cute

Yes they do! It was a 17-song album called Legend of Twins I (can't remeber full name) It was very good although it had very few new songs.

LOL it's Legend Of Twins I : Futago Densetsu

it was released in 3 editions . The one that has 17 songs is the CD + DVD Type A & it comes with a 80 page hardcover photobook

the other 2 editions namely the CD & CD + DVD Type B , only has 13 songs

all editions only comes with 5 new songs & not 4

Oh so that is! I saw that title on nautiljon, but I dudn't want to open and check it out because I thought it was a fan compilation

LOL I hope there will be the third season of VK

Maybe they'll do an opening for it too

Or at least they should release smth new, I don't like their 'slow stuff'.

^At the moment, it doesn't seem like VK is going to have a third season anytime soon (hope I'm wrong though). If it does, there's a 80%+ chance they'll be doing the opening again! Same for Kanon W. doing the ending because it's obvious that VK has given them a lot of popularity.

^Haha, both ON/OFF & Kanon disappeared after releasing two singles and a debut album... This sucks. I can't even remember the last time I heard a song from them.
