My album isn't in Shipping Process yet because mine is supposedly the later batch where it will only be shipped 1-4 days after its release. Sad.

Here are some descriptions of the new songs:

"Take Off: Overlapped synth arpeggio and breakbeats, introduction to the album.

NIGHT FLIGHT: 80’s techno-pop style song, high tempo (145BPM) and 8bit sounds.

Kiss and Music: Funk-groove songs about erotic/love songs but the mood of this song has an opposite mood using a moog’s arpeggio, and the vocals are inorganic, mixing it up in a kitsch tune.

Zero Gravity: Jazzy electro piano, bossa mood song.

I still love U: 80’s new music love song. An impressive melody line.

The best thing: House love song that begins with a synth arpeggio solo. Nakata Yasutaka’s stylemark.

Speed of Sound: Percussive, latin-house beat basis, jazzy club track. Vocals are only words."

^i totally agree! its different from the live mix though

i wonder why the live's named triangle mix

but tbh, IMO triangle is a bit weaker than GAME. triangle is more techno rather than GAME

from reading other people's opinions, it seems like Triangle isn't too well liked. so, i came in with rather low expectations for the album. and...tbh, i liked it! i guess people wanted "GAME (Part II)" or something.

i suppose it's rather "chill" in comparison to "GAME", but i like the rather 80s themed electro theme to it. the triangle-mix of "edge" is amaaaaaaazing.

& i prefer the album-mix of "Negai" to the single-version. my favorite new song is "I still love U" (if we're not including "NIGHT FLIGHT" in the new song category).

i think Nakata is moving towards a new sound, with capsule releasing their best album later this summer. & i think he's experimenting with it on "Triangle". it's different from MEG's "BEAUTIFUL" too.

so i heard the whole album, and i LOVE every song! i'm being completely serious, lol. this album was so much better than GAME for me. i love "edge (⊿ mix)", "the best thing", "kiss and music", "i still love u", and "the speed of sound". it really was a great album and i totally enjoyed it!

This isn't at all a new sound for capsule, rather it's Nakata going back to his roots with Shibuya-kei picopop and a bossa-nova sound. For me, about half the album works and half doesn't. GAME was about the same ratio, but the songs I liked on GAME I REALLY loved. There's no classics like Polyrhythm, Ceramic Girl, or Puppy Love for me on this album, but granted I do need to give it a few more listens. It seems like some songs just lack a melody.

Still, better than the previews let on. Initial impression is a 6.5-7/10 versus GAME's 8/10.
