[News] Guinness certifies GReeeeN's "Kiseki"

As of May 24th, the single "Kiseki" by popular music group GReeeeN achieved a total of 2,301,674 chaku-uta full downloads. Guinness World Records has now formally certified the group's application for the "Best Selling Download Single in Japan."

"Kiseki" was the theme song for the TBS drama "ROOKIES" and was released on CD on May 28th. As of June 28th, it had accumulated a total of 5.9 million downloads (chaku-uta and chaku-uta full). An official ceremony was held last week in which "ROOKIES" actor Ryuta Sato received the Guinness World Records certificate on GReeeeN's behalf.

Go GreeeeN! I like them sometimes. Other times it sounds like they're releasing the same song over and over and over again. I don't think Kiseki is that great, but its cool.
I can't wait to see what those dudes look like.

this's the song that propel them to even greater heights . Initally , it was their 3rd single Ai Uta which was credited as their breakthough hit

but after Kiseki was released last year , more people sat up & took notice of them & this's still their only #1 single & not to mention their best selling one to date

I honestly don't get the big thing about Kiseki...they have way better songs.

Even the other exchange students were obsessed with it...I like Ai Uta and Haruka way more but eh.

Poor Thelma, she couldn't even hold on to the title for a year. Well I guess holding the title for a couple of months wasn't bad.
