@Noidea@ I was just kidding xD Don't hate me

Most of the time, Ayu sings live... I would say that less than 20% of her performaces over those 11 years and some months were lip-synched... some people says she lip-synchs at least 2 or 3 songs per concert, but most of the time this is based on dvd versions were everything is edited (the same goes for tv versions broadcasted days or months after the recording, like the a-nations or at08). I would say that Angel's Song and Greatful Days were never sung live on concert, and some more songs I can't really remember right now... But as someone stated, I prefer to just enjoy the concert^^

^ because it just gives no live impression at all, except for the lalalas, they always seem live to me, but i only watched the a-nation '08 performance once, so i cant say anything about that

@Andrenekoi
Actually, I think something between 15-20 % probably is the amount of playback
And I know that you were just kidding^^ Just wanted to point it out, mostly for the other poeple.

And you can't sing twice in the exact same way, how naive are you? Its impossible. Even the best vocalists of the world can't do so. Especially not while dancing, while your ill or when your voice changed drastically over the years.
If proven by a computer thats several times more exact than what humans actually can HEAR, and by hearing you can already say that its the same without doubt, because thats still exact enough.
And how can you assure me that AT07 was all live? Thats WAY more speculation than saying 2 or 3 songs were playback.
1) ok i forgot about theme of a-nation '03.

2) Calling me naive? Try telling this to everyone in the forum and see who believes u. They rather read a magazine than ur "theory" on ayu lip-synching. U cant prove anything with whatever u said.

i agree with u that it makes sense. but THIS IS NOTHING TO PROVE ANYTHING!! oh cumon.

3) I have BEEN TO that concert. I have listened to ayu's singing. Beat that.

I just think people who are always watching out to see if Ayu lip-syncs are missing out. In the grand scheme of things it ain't that important.

That doesnt change the fact that your "she sang it completely live" is speculated in just the same way. Your "I was there" is nothing to prove it as well.
U cant prove anything with whatever u said. All I ever wrote makes more sense than your "I was there!!!!!!!" argument. And seriously, I don't believe that they completely replaced the audio for several songs in that tour, and that they even had the oppurtunity to do so, because she usually speaks to the audience and shouts out come on!s in songs like evolution and UNITE!.
many, many people, especially new fans, here belong to the "Ayu is perfect!"-fraction, of course they won't believe me, measuring truth by how many people think it's right is crap. Or do you say the Nazis were right because many people believed Hitler back then?

^ Well, I just think that if he can't bem sure it was live even being there, people who goes to her concerts and are 100% sure it wasn't live can't be trusted too..

At the end of the day, whether or not Ayu was lip-syncing at a concert or not, if you're there watching it live, it doesn't matter because the impact is pretty much just as good.

I *do* believe that AT07 evolution was playback, but that doesn't stop it from being one of my favourite performances. Also, I also believe Greatful Days at A-nation 08 was playback. However, I don't think this sort of thing should be treated as something negative, because Ayu clearly doesn't really think so.

I prefer her to do what she's comfortable with. I think having a few songs each concert as playback gives her a major boost in her vocals for her encore, otherwise she'll be too tired!

Her really early concerts though, Concert Tour and Dome Tour were definitely live. I'd also like to add Stadium Tour in there, but I'm not 100% certain. Maybe 90% certain.

I agree with you almost 100%(only Stadium Tour is the thing I do not agree with, but we shouldnt discuss this now^^ and CDL00-01 was 100% live as well, just to add^^)
I think as long as Ayu does not synch one of the following songs:
A Song for XX
teddy bear
Memorial Address
untitled ~for her~
or a complete concert, I'm totally okay with it.
And I also LOVE some of the performances I think that were playback(Marionette in AT08 belongs to my favourite ever performances though I think it was playback)

evolution at AT07 was live, at least it's ballad part! I tired of proving it by bootleg video!

^ yeah, i might have confused a little, i splitted the song in two files on my ipod, one being the ballad intro and the second being the main performance, so i always forget about that part

And the first thought is not "WHAT DID SHE SYNCH?", but you can't help but notice it, especially if you know the playback really well already from watching other concerts of hers + Theres always reports before you get the concert saying which songs probably were synched which, of course, makes you listen more closely on these songs.
wow, you just took one minute of my spare time for reading this comment an two more minutes for me to answer, oh noo~
and the "what did she synch" part wasn't aimed at you directlly, it's a general thing a lot of members seem to have recentlly, so don't get all quirky about it. i'm not here to start an argument with you nor anyone else.

of course everyone pays more attention to a song someone reported as being synched, but to search for tiny details of every performance just to see if it was live or not just ruins the whole concert and i find it sad.
(again not aimed at you directlly, it's in general)

I didn't mean to make people fight in this thread... I just wanted to know xD but I guess we all have our own ways to see what ayu does and she's really singing or not :S

I really wanted the facts and not the opinions, but thanks anyway!

Facts: evolution at CDL02-03 (this is the one mimed cuz she was sick, right?), Theme of A-Nation'03 at CDL05-06 and Angel's Song at PCDL08-09

I don't remember reading about an official announcement about CDL0203 and IF there was one, they would have included all playback songs and not just one. evolution wasnt even the most obvious one in that concert IMO

Limited TA Live Tour 2003 was fully live
Evolution @CDL0203 was announced as playback(and some more song, don't remember which? Unite?) in order to not break the show

probably UNITE!, that song is on my mental list of playback in that concert(along with two other songs I don't want to specify because people will instantly start attacking me)
but why did they announce the playback in CDL0203 where she only was a little ill but not for any other concert(like for pcdl were she was in WAY worse condition) I think thats really weird

Limited TA live tour:
How can you be sure? I wont say any of the songs is playback because I simply never really watched that concert, but I think saying everything in one concert is live is a little too much speculation as well
