You really shouldn't generalize people just because they don't like something that you do. We're fans of Ayu, not her obsessed freaks.

Anyway, I feel the covers are plain bad, that's all. I rarely bring negativity to the forum, so...

Because these covers horrendously suck and are fugly. I could tell from Ayu's camera phone pictures of herself that she wasn't going to turn out too hot because I didn't like how she looked in those either.

Well... yeah but the forum has a lot of people, and everyone has his own opinion, so it's really hard to get everyone to agree on one thing. But that's kinda beauty of its own, unless people start flaming each other, or giving personal attacks...

Since when there is something like "this is universally good as a visual piece"? You can say what is well or poorly done (like this strange cover), but everyone has the right to find anything beautiful or ugly o.õ

Anthony...you always say it's us being negative and biased...but this is just ridiculous.

The covers suck.

And that's kinda the end of it. It's not us being whiny or retarded, for once, it's us actually realising, that...they suck.

And I think the whole , "well things have been substandard.." doesn't really make it okay for these to suck. If that's true...then we can just say it about all her music recently and in the future..."Well it's sucked for a while, so, it's okay for it to suck some more."

But whatever...they're just covers right? They won't damage the integrity of the single at all from a market standpoint.

on another note: I CANT WAIT FOR SUNSET.

i just hate, yes i said it, HATE the outfit. brown doesn't look good on AAAANYYYY BOOOODDYYYYY.

other than that, i actually like the covers. it's got a nice backdrop, and i love her hair and make-up! she looks hot.

but it's not because we're all negative towards ayu now. its obvious that the covers aren't ultimately beautiful and "omg, amazing". look at it. the colors and the entire picture... there's nothing complementing, color-wise, outfit & backdrop.

I usually look the bigger pic first, not the details. To tell you the truth, in overall the covers don't look bad at all. But her expression, clothes and makeup are totally...bad.

When I first saw them I was just like "well...meh", unlike with NEXT LEVEL covers where I almost had a heart attack how ugly the covers were.

Well, with Kazuyoshi.. he just sucks more than a baby on his mother's teat. So.. we've had almost two straight years of complete suck in photography.. -sigh-

Musically though, it's love/hate since people seem to be mixed. Some have NL at the top of their fav. album lists and some have it at the bottom. I personally have it towards the bottom despite the fact that I love it haha.

Not really, I find that rather than being negative, it's just people displaying that hypersensitivity to new Ayu stuff that I mentioned earlier. And terrible taste, haha.

People have stated their reasons for disliking the covers. So what if we don't like them?

They personally don't appeal to me because they look so... empty. Ayu doesn't blend well into the scenery. She's just standing their with the usual look on her face. The second cover looks like she's trying to fix her ear piece like she does when she's live.

The OBVIOUS Photoshop doesn't help anything either. She just doesn't look like herself. I think she's capable of much more.

If you like the covers, good. They're different and peacefully tropical which is what alot of people have been asking for for a while now.

Is there ever a topic where truehappiness doesn't shoot down people's opinions? And do we need another topic like this? We already have a "Do you like the Sunrise/Sunset covers" and stuff ~.~

Nonetheless, Ayu is pretty yes. But her tan looks like someone draw all over her with a tan-colored marker. The backdrop is fake looking. I was expecting some sort of beach or something. But whateve.

EDIT: Can't forget the fish face o3O

I don't like them from a composition and colour way point. Ayu reclining on the beach looking down smiling/in thought would have been nice even in the outfit.

Having said that, identity's set has almost saved it for me. The colours work so much better there!

Personally, I think that anyone that has NL at the top of their lists, shouldn't really be trusted. It's pretty obvious that she has better albums, in terms of pretty much anything.

But thats just my opinion...I really don't know what this discussion has to do with her music.

I don't think so...like I said, if the covers were awesome, everyone would be all drooling over them like they usually do...like they did for the NL covers? even though a lot of us hated those for the crap photography as well...

But imo, those covers own these, even though I hate them.

hmm, i like the summer consept and doing something new.
I really like her hair, maybe not the extentions...
for me, the outfit is quite...kumiish? I don't know...
But ayu does have a great bod

..so go and show it off woman! lol
but i think maybe the bathing suit pictures of her book, something simmilar would of been a good idea. Like spashing around in the water, smiling?

I actually really like the covers, mainly because for once she didn't use a bland font. I find that Ayu always uses hideous fonts (Secret's cover was ruined by that nasty font!) but for once the text actually suits the image, which is great!

Yeah, the background doesn't look natural, but it still looks nice. I also like how the cover is summery, but also rather mellow. I prefer the DVD cover, her pose is very cute~

Even if ayu has done some good covers, some superficial fans still be negative. This is not the first time.
