It's not really common for Ayu to have first presses for her singles.
Very few of her singles actually have a first press :S

Will there be any choreography?
I really wonder.
There is choreography for both songs. Zin did the Sunrise choreography, and Maro did the Sunset choreography. There are tiny little details like that in the first post.

I wish ayumi wouldn't release all her singles in cd/dvd format. makes the album in cd/dvd format seem so less magical lol. and pointless. It's now considered standard, but if she did it more rarely, it would, again, be considered a rarity and probably sell more. or so. just pondering.

Really not that hyped up about the pvs. sunrise is probably humming part 2, and sunset is probably curtain call part 2. But I'm hoping not obviously lol.

Some Team ayu members will be on Sunset PV so I don't think it can be Curtain call.
Not even the same director. Also not the same director as Humming 7/4. xD
Both PVs also have certain cheorographies so it also denies any Humming 7/4 or Curtain call relation.

I do agree with you, but that doesn't make the DVD on the album pointless because she usually includes more PV's on the album DVD.

For example NEXT LEVEL had the following material that wasn't included on any single's DVD:

Sparkle <Video Clip> + <Making Clip>
NEXT LEVEL <Video Clip> + <Making Clip>
Curtain call <Video Clip> + <Making Clip>

Also, in order to have both Days <Making Clip> and GREEN <Making Clip>, you'd have to buy BOTH versions of the single Days/GREEN and GREEN/days.

So.. album DVD's aren't that pointless. But you're right, they would be more magical and special if the singles didn't have DVD's. But if that was the case, single sales would be lower.. which also means lower income..
Avex probably calculated that what they're doing right now is the best way to make the most money

Album DVDs cost a lot less than PV compilations which run upwards from 4000 - 6000yen..

Plus you get the CD along with the DVD, so it makes more sense to make those. Anyone who actually buys Ayu's albums/singles would know that it's probably more sensible to just wait and buy the CD+DVD version of the album because just about everything other than a remix and instrumentals will end up on the album somehow [other than MW/Life]..

yup~ that's why I always buy CD ver. of the singles (besides the 10th Anni. ones) and CD+DVD ver. of the albums

^ that is true. I just kind of wish she didn't release every single as a dvd format. I mean after a while its just a given and loses its luster lol. not like "OMG so cool this next single is gonna be in cd/dvd format! we get the music video with it" instead, since its now a standard, the reaction is "what? just a standard cd with the dvd pvs? nothing else?" get what I mean? if she didn't release singles in cd/dvd format all the time, the dvd part would become the "something else".

The CD+DVD single format became kind of a standard for many artists in Japan, it gives people something to chose from if nothing else.

I think CD+DVD singles are a waste of money. Seriously 2000 yen? I'm too poor ( ) ( ). I think only super extreme fans buy them. Not that that's a bad thing ^^;
