Meeting an (Ayu) fan

Hey guys,
I want to share a experience from yesterday which is quite funny.
Well, yesterday I went with my mom and my aunt swimming, you know everythong was going fine and suddenly this girl from GREENPEACE appeared.
She just was collecting some signatures, and I think GREENPEACE is a very good thing, so I gave her my signature and my personal data and when it came up to my e-mail address (the same like my nickname) she asked if I like Manga and Anime and I told her that I do.
And then she suddenly asked me if I listen to Japanese Music and I told her that I love ayu and if she also knows her because that girl was more kind of a Visu and I'm not on this trip. She loved AnCafe, but who cares she only had good words about Ayu and she said that she loves 'evolution' and that Ayu's PV's are the best in Japan.

So, it seemed that she didn't has so much notion but it's OK, it was the third time that I met someone in my town who knows Ayu.

There once was a boy from the Phillipines in my former school who know Ayu and I even gave the 'BLUE BIRD' single as a birthday present to him.
And the other time my mom went into a boutique which I also know, and there is an Asian girl working, I think she's Chinese but I'm not sure.
And this Chinese told my mom that a friend of hers also adores Ayu.
You know, my mom really loves me and so she also loves Ayu and is always fascinated when I watch anything from Ayu and she comes to my room.

Haha, so I just wanted to tell that short stories because it's quite funny where you can meet an Ayu fan.

she would watch with me too ^^
i kind of influence her to love ayu too xD

That's why I also love my mom because she's so interested in Ayu and I can tell her about anything (for instance the 10th Anniversary thing, that that was a big thing) and she listens talks with me about Ayu

You guys are really lucky. My mom doesn't have any feeling with Ayu. So, I just kept my lovely Ayu for myself. My friends and family also have no feeling about Ayu. They just knew I love Ayu but they don't care about it. Sometimes they make fun of Ayu. I get mad. But then I think, it's not a problem if I'm the only Ayu's fan in my place. It could be very nice

Aww, my Mom and Sisters are the same! I've had so many times where I've caught them watching the DVD of the PVs and making ofs from Secret. (because that's my families favourite Ayu album X3) A lot of my friends love Ayu too.

I wish I could meet more Ayu fans where I live though~

at home:
my sis listen to ayu, influence by me. She have some songs in her ipod and likes ayupan too.
Both my sis and mum watches Ayu's dvds with me. except my dad hates her, he always call her 'crazy woman' and fans as 'crazy people'

at work:
back at my casio company, i have 2 people who likes her

i know 1 friend who likes ayu's songs

I have met an Ayu fan colleague at workplace before, but we were not very close. It so happens when she overheard me playing Ayu's songs a couple of times over the pc and hence came to know that I like Ayu. She told me her lyrics were meaningful and said Ayu is very cute~~

Sadly none of my close friends like Ayu, and there are only a mere one or two who listens to a few songs of hers and yah.

I am the only devoted Ayu fan in my family. My sis likes some of her songs and that's all..Sometimes they get irritated when I blast them with Ayu songs..haha.

my auntie n cousins usually have the "woahh ~" expression everytime we watch an ayu dvd ~
my cousins likes ayu's Who... , Voyage and dearest , my auntie likes the next level album she even thinks that the usb is super cool ~ she said "i think someday i will become her fan because of u.." ^^
n my new friend in high school ~ we listen BoA's Eat You Up at school ~ one of my friend bring the CD n we just started the conversation of J-Pop n K-Pop ~ suddenly she said "ayu's MY ALL is an epic song" n i was very shocked (coz she dont have the 'feel' of a fan lol)
my dad also said that 'a museum' is epic ^^
n lot's of my friends love ayu ~~

Haha~ I've never been to the Philippines just this boy was from the Philippines but is livin' here in my country.

It's very nice to hear that some of your families and friends like or even love Ayu, I think that's important for yourself because in West it's something very extraordinary to listen to J-Pop and not to English Music.

The only persons who are against this type of music are my daddy and my boyfriend. But dad only says that I should listen to my mother tongue's music, but he's OK with Ayu. My boyfriend makes always fun of me and Ayu, which I think is very stupid and it makes so furious (you can't imagine) because no one attacks Ayu but for the peace's sake I better shut up, so I'd quarrel with my boyfriend and I don't want to.

Haha, nice! Yeah, I've met a couple of people. My best friend is one of them, and there was also this group of kids in my school that used Ayu's Fly High remix for one of their projects. I'm quite sure that's all...

i almost forgot to say that my best friend is an ayu fan too ~
we started our friendship in 1998 just like ayu who started her career on that year ~

My mom is fascinated by Ayu too. She's always asking me about her and every time she walks by the computer (it's in the center of the house) and she sees my wallpapers she stops and says "Is that her? She's soooooo pretty!" And she'll actually stand there for a long time staring at Ayu pictures with me and asking if I have more pictures and asking if I can show her more performances, commenting while she watches them. (But the annoying part is she likes to brag to all my relatives about her weird daughter who obsesses over some glamorous pop star on the other side of the planet )

And then when my dad sees my wallpapers he's all like

Also my brother hates anything I love just to be annoying, and my cousin obsesses over the Mirrorcle World PV.

wow thats very interesting and so lucky to know people who are into ayu, especially ur mom. my mom wasnt fascinated by her but instead 'tolerated' her lol. my sis and i use to sing a long to her songs, but now its just me. she left ayu for kpop ha. my husband.....he knows i <3 ayu but is pretty annoyed that i spend a lot on her. im the only huge fanatic here (that i know of) here in san diego. ive introduced ayu to all my friends in high school. but that was yrs ago. at least i know AHS ^^
