Kusanagi Tsuyoshi to return as PR ambassador

Kusanagi Tsuyoshi overcomes his indecent act and will return as a PR ambassador for a new broadcasting campaign.

35 year-old SMAP band member Kusanagi Tsuyoshi was recently in the news for his indecent public act. Strongly valued by various Japanese broadcasting stations, Kusanagi will be making his return as a PR ambassador for the government's campaign on the shift from analog to digital terrestrial TV broadcasting. However, he will not be paid for his campaigning activities over the next two years.

On July 2006, various major Japanese television broadcasters enlisted the services of Kusanagi, a popular public figure with a clean image, to take on the role of a campaign promoter.

Sources said that although Kusanagi's contract with these broadcasters expired last month, his good performance and activities in the entertainment circle have been impressive. Coupled with the actor's desire to take on the role of PR ambassador for free, broadcasters decided to overlook his recent scandal and inked a new two-year contract with him.

The singer recently made headlines in April when he was found naked in a public park under the influence of alcohol. A group of executives that comprised of local government officials, broadcasters, and electronic makers rebuked him for being a "low-class person doing an unforgivable act," and even requested for Kusanagi to be revoked of his ambassador role.

Things have been running smoothly for Kusanagi as he resumed work for his various entertainment projects after a month-long break. His hardworking and humble demeanor, coupled with his outstanding performance as a PR ambassador put him back in the good books of the broadcasting association as they decided to continue their contract with him.

I'm foreseeing that Orthros no Inu will be heading in the same direction as Maou (love love love the drama ) , ratings wise

since both dramas are dark & etc , maybe that kinda hurt the ratings to a certain extent

I just watched it earlier on & it's ace . It's hard to believe that Ryo did things that he will not do in real life & that goes for Tackey too :O

Oshinari Shugo is hot & for once I'm glad he's not playing a punk & I still find it hard to accept that he's playing the good guy this time round (I think & doesn't help he has a chao ah beng face that you want to punch LOL ) but man , HSJ's Hikaru's o_O & he has grown up & changed a LOT man

but it's a really solid start for episode 1

it reminds me of his solo song "世界中のみんなで…。" off KinKi Kids' "G Album". eerily similar, actually. o_o

I should check out 世界中のみんなで… then & I find it a bit silly that Perfect World's included in the normal & NOT the 1st press edition of the single

the 1st press CD only of his single contains the instrumental of Ayakashi which I find it so lame imo

anyway I can't wait to scan up both editions of Ayakashi later on when I get them

Koichi's the more out there & the performer performer type of person while Tsuyoshi's more serious in his craft , with the whole stripped down approach towards his solo stuff as evident in Sora ....

I figured he composed all the tracks on the single seeing how he composes every single/album he released. I never would have guessed he wrote Perfect World -2009, because he rarely writes his songs.

usually the 1st day sales for Johnny's releases is pretty decent/big & then it will nosedive in days to come

& yes of course , I will scan the CD + DVD up in due time when I get it from Cliff & he looks so cute with that dog

it's nice that he has some personal input in Ayakashi , just like what Tsuyoshi did for his most recent solo material which's always a good thing

that's exactly how i would compare the two. Tsuyoshi's more experimental in his solo endevours too.

if you enjoyed "Ayakashi" single so much, i think you should try out his solo album "mirror"!
