Hmm...that's not too bad a drop i guess. still...

She needs to take a break. Such high exposure in Japan over such a long period of time is obviously going to make a lot of people get sick of her.

Hopefully the weekend will boost sales a bit

Actually her exposure are not that high. For a pop act, it's normal to release about 2 - 3 singles and probly an album per year. Her overexposure time was back between 2001 - 2002.

The problem for ayu rite now is that she has been in the industry for so long that general public are bored of her.

Below is my opinion.. I agree that she doesn't really act like her age (some of the times). I wished she would going back to her mature style, which was around 2004 - 2005 (I just love her mature look in STEP you and fairyland.. the make up and stuff...). There's another problem... the current style or direction she goes for looks kinda weird. Well, right now I still read her news, listen to her song, all because she's ayu, the singer I've been following for 10 years. I do hope she'll pop up something new that will wow the whole world.

I think you've just pointed out the right thing ! She will appeal a larger audience d(^_^)
