She needs to take a break. Such high exposure in Japan over such a long period of time is obviously going to make a lot of people get sick of her.

Hopefully the weekend will boost sales a bit

It was just a 30% or around drop.

I wonder if the drama yesterday made it not to drop by 50%+ (even though it just aired on 9 PM)?

x->1->1->1 - Hamasaki Ayumi - 36,552 + 12,873 + 8,104 = 57,529
x->2->2->3 - Morning Musume. - 23,301 + 10,946 + 4,784 = 39,031

Morning Musume are #3 today.

Their fans' plans have been crushed, I just hope not a lot of people bought the same single in the 4 versions a lot of times.

Well this is ok, hopefully the sales will have a slight increase after Music Station and I am really hoping the weekend won't go below 7k. So much about Momosu getting #1 lol

Yes but not in total.
They would need to sell at least 55,000 more copies this week to get another #1 week and it's impossible for them.

I saw MS' performance and it was amazing!
The audience had so much energy and even some screams. XDDD
The stage was circle and the audience sorrounded her!
Her vocals were better than past performances I think excpet for some off keys in the choruses.

The sales are okay I guess... I think the first week sales would probably be 65k-ish which is quite good seeing how there's only 2 versions of the single.

Actually her exposure are not that high. For a pop act, it's normal to release about 2 - 3 singles and probly an album per year. Her overexposure time was back between 2001 - 2002.

The problem for ayu rite now is that she has been in the industry for so long that general public are bored of her.

Below is my opinion.. I agree that she doesn't really act like her age (some of the times). I wished she would going back to her mature style, which was around 2004 - 2005 (I just love her mature look in STEP you and fairyland.. the make up and stuff...). There's another problem... the current style or direction she goes for looks kinda weird. Well, right now I still read her news, listen to her song, all because she's ayu, the singer I've been following for 10 years. I do hope she'll pop up something new that will wow the whole world.

i'm only pissed off at those people, who only says that they want ayu to have an awesome sales and complaining why people aren't buying the single to push the sales up, but they themselves are not even buying it.....

i don't bother much about sales chart, looking at the current marklet and economy, ayu's sales is fine.

the only other really high NINKI no. I have seen that overcrossed 400 is yes ARASHI still

their latest single Everything's NINKI index was 453.90 @_@ but it sold 342,070 in the 1st week which I suspect it's because of their impending All the BEST ! which has left many fangirls poor like me xD (Everything will cross 400K by next week YAY since its total sales is 399,995 at the mo lmao , just 5 more copies xD)

whereas the previous single before Everything , Ashita no Kioku / Crazy Moon , index was 339.80 but it sold 502,487 in the 1st week (2nd best 1st week sales attained by them after A.RA.SHI & the best 1st week sales attained by an artiste this year)

then again NINKI's never accurate at all . If it's true that All the BEST ! can clear 575K or maybe even higher than that no. in the 1st week , I think they can get the #1 spot for the singles , albums & DVD Oricon charts at no sweat (they already did for the singles & DVD Oricon charts anyway right now at this point in time)

pretty ok , at least the 3rd day , it didn't dropped that drastic unlike the 1st-2nd day T_T

I say S/S is another #1 in the bag for her but of course that's if nothing were to go wrong in the last 3 days to come
