They wouldn't necessarily need to be TOGETHER though, It's very possible that the orchestra did their recordings and sent them to Ayu and she re-recorded some vocals to go with them, or vice versa.

Because it's quite clearly a fact. In GAME you can clearly hear the vocoder at the end of the intro.
They would have taken that out if it was re-recorded.

Game was for sure re-recorded, or using an earlier recording of Game.
For Vocoder to work like in GAME, I think it's Auto-tune!
And she has to sing off key for it to sound like that one in Game, doesn't she?
But in the classic version, she is for sure on key... so I am not sure!!

Why do you think it's adifferent recording? I think all of the tracks sound exactly the same. The orchestra was simply recorded by themselves or while playing the vocal track I can hear no difference in ayumi's vocals.. It's the same vocal track in all version of moments I've heard so far, the piano version, MY STORY version, single version, the flying humanoid remix, CLassical version etc.
