Top 5 Live Jpop/Jrock performances

OK, so i was bored in work this afternoon (same always) and started thinking about my favourite live Jpop/Jrock live performances. I love live music so much, so I'd like to find out what performances everyone else loves. Just please keep it to one performance per singer/band ^^. I know that can be tough, but it would make things more interesting .

Post links (or embed the video) for your top 5 Jpop/Jrock live performances!!

1: Fra Foa - Aojiro Tsuki

Maybe this band isn't too well known here (would be nice if they were though) but oh well. This is the best performance I've ever seen. EVER. Chisako's voice is so full of raw emotion, and the amount of herself that she just pushes into this performance is astounding. It's such a shame this band split

2: Hamasaki Ayumi - Memorial Address (AT03-04)

This performance alone was enough for me to buy AT03-04. I just love the emotion she puts into and feel that her voice was near perfect on this performance. My favourite Ayu live!

3: X Japan - Rose of Pain acoustic

Probably my favourite X Japan song, definitely my favourite performance. For a band and a song that's so overblown, this seriously dialed down acoustic version is excellent.

4: Onitsuka Chihiro - Infection

Absolutely impossible to not be moved by this performance. Such an amazing voice... probably the best vocal performance in this top 5 infact. This video STILL makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and i've seen it a ridiculous amount of times. (Plus i love what she's wearing)

5: Angela Aki - Santa Fe

Now, as much as i really do LOVE this performance, it comes as a slight surprise to me lol. I'm a fan of Angela Aki, but not a huge one by any stretch of the imagination. However, when i first saw this performance i was amazed. Whether it's the awesome piano, or the awesome voice, it's just near enough flawless.

Awwww only one for each artist Utada would be dominating the last 3 slots of my list

1. Ayumi Hamasaki- A Song For XX Live @ a-nation 2008

A Song for XX + Rain + Ayu's best vocals ever=best jpop performance ever

2. Perfume-Dream Fighter/ポリリズムlive @ Ontama Carnival 2009

Ok so maybe they are'nt singing but the insanely perfect choreography more than makes up for it IMO. Makes you want to get up and dance along

3. Utada Hikaru-Passion live @ Utada United 2006

Possibly the greatest opening of a concert ever

4. Koda Kumi Moon Crying live @ Kingdom Tour

So perfect it almost sounds like the studio version

5. alan - 幸せの鐘 + 懐かしい未来~longing future~ @ RED RIBBON LIVE 09[/B]

I just picked this because it was kinda boring but really beautiful...

this is really sad, but an amazing performance

ohh this is hard

i'll do mine in reverse

5. w-inds. - Paradox from System of Alive tour

My favorite w-inds. song and my favorite w-inds. performance. Keita hits every note perfectly and I love the part with the dancing when they 'jump into and our of' the screens

4. Koda Kumi - you from FEVER LIVE IN HALL

I absolutely LOVE this performance. This arrangement gives me chills Especially at the beginning

3. TETRA-FANG - Supernova from Kamen Rider Kiva LIVE SHOW @ Zepp Tokyo

Not really amazing by visual standards but whats really awesome about is that the singer (Koji Seto) is not actually a singer but an actor and he manages to hit every note exactly. Seriously people, check out TETRA-FANG!! THEY ROCK!!

2. Ayumi Hamasaki - Mirrorcle World from ASIA TOUR 2008

This is my fav ayu performance ever

1. AAA - Red Soul from 5TH ATTACK

Love AAA! Love this song! Live this live!

1) KAT-TUN's Kamenashi Kazuya's solo 1582 live from Break the Records Tokyo Dome tour (fancam , not very good quality & imo best live performance of 2009 I have seen this year 8D)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cblUK5QYJU

ll moments ll & my brain literally short circuited when we both saw this EPIC performance that the 1st co lead vocalist put up during their 8 days straight performance at Tokyo Dome O______O

& seriously how many guys you know can wear a Kimono , wore red lipstick & sing such a song & at the same time , looks awesome when he cross dress as a woman xD & at the same time did such a cool WATER DANCE (pun intended)

I so can't wait for this performance to be included on DVD & he's really the king of fanservices *points to when Kame took crotch shots of the rest of the guys , 'molested' his juniors , talked dirty during the MCs of the group's tours & etc etc etc

(is it any wonder on how many times I got morally corrupted by the group & then some since supporting them from last May til now xD)

I want you back in eyeliner & visual kei garb , Kame xD

2) ARASHI's Be with you (Summer Tour 2007 Time Concert DVD)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9XEqa4nY44

Taken from their Summer Tour 2007 Time Concert DVD , this's the 1st DVD I bought of the guys & Aiba Masaki was bawling his eyes off because 2 years ago , at that time , they finally had the chance to perform in Tokyo Dome & Aiba being the emotional one , broke down when it was his time to sing Be with you

Nowadays whenever I hear Be with you on their Time album , I might choke up & remember this

3) Ken Hirai - DESPERADO (Live from MUSIC STATION)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzQG6aLYWgY

Cover of The Eagles's Desperado which Ken performed live a while back ago to promote his 2nd cover album Ken's Bar II

Ken's such a seasonal performer & he's 1 of the rare artistes that tend to sound the same if not on par live as compared to what you hear on a CD

4) flumpool - Hoshi ni Negai wo (MUSIC STATION)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Bssg-2dJcI

1 of my fave indie rock bands that I came across this year with thanks to ll moments ll for introducing me to their material , just like Ken Hirai , flumpool sounds on par if not more great on what I hear on a CD & the performance of their debut major label single Hoshi ni Negai wo is slamming & rocking !

5) Kuroki Meisa - SHOCK -Unmei- (MUSIC STATION)

sadly I cannot find any youtube links pertaining to Sister Angela () maiden performance of her debut single but she did well for a 1st performance considering that by right she's a model & an actress

& she looked stunning at the end of the performance <3

1. Ayumi Hamasaki - HANABI @ a-nation 2005: Amazing vocals and a beautiful arrangement and performance
2. Utada Hikaru - Passion: It's this performance, I'm not sure where it's from but it's so good!

3. Nana Mizuki - Yozakura Oshichi and Kawachi Otoko Bushi @ Nana Mizuki Oini Utau: She covered two enka songs, and it wasn't the flashiest performance, but her vocals were so good... <3
4. Gackt + Ayu - Itsuka no Merry Christmas @ Yume no Christmas: I don't know what it is about this performance, but I just love it soooo much. I watch it all the time

5. Riyu Kosaka - Danzai no Hana ~Guilty Sky~ @ Zepp Tokyo 2007: She is such an awesome singer, and it sounds identical to the recording. She does sing the first verse twice accidentally though
