This is pretty much what I wanted to write.

Anyways, they're just song names...doesn't bother me. I just hope I'll like the songs, pvs, and the covers. For some reason I have high hopes for this release. I always loved ayu's ballads, and I also enjoy her winter ballad pvs. (even the recent ones like days, together when..., momentum, etc) I wouldn't mind if ishii directs again coz I enjoy his ballad pvs. As for the covers, I don't think it can get any worse than the s/s covers. d/g covers were not that bad...so even if shimomura photographs again, it should be ok...I hope.

I have all the shame of the world baby.

We are discussing the titles here, not the songs, and you can already imagine how the songs will be (3 ballads, wintery stuff etc.). It's Ayu we are talking of, obviously she may do something different and original this time and I will eat my words, but as of now, that's what I think. It's my opinion, as valid as any other, so if your fandom blinds you to say anything wrong about Ayu, go eat a cake, because I really don't give a damn. If you respect my opinion, I respect yours, which is as valid, but please, let's be neutral.

I'm judging Ayu right now taking from the most recent example of her artistry (and I do this with all artistes): Sunrise / Sunset, which in my opinion, is a horrid single. In the same way, I'm expecting Namie's new album to be awesome, since her last single was, imo.

But obviously that doesn't means that You were... / BALLAD can't happen to be the best thing ever and Namie's new album can be a total failure. Anything may happen.

And yes, I think that Ayu as a whole, has some of the best titles for both songs and albums that I've seen, and titles are really important at least for me, since they usually reflect the spirit of a song and are a key component in marketing. If you follow that formula of "oh, titles don't matter at all", then you should complain about people when they say "Oh, the contrast between Sunrise and Sunset sounds so good, it's an amazing title" right? But nooooo, because that's praising Ayu and obviously she can do no wrong.

If I were ever to judge that album based on it's track titles I would've never tried to listen to it. Sure a song titled BALLAD doesn't sound very creative, but an album with 3 songs that feature the word LOVE in their titles, a song that's titled Steal my night and a song about a FAST CAR don't sound very appealing to me xD So I am sorry, but I am kinda failing to see your poing? Sure the names might not be very creative, even though I only have a prob with BALLAD xD the names don't have to reflect the actual quality of the song.

Good Lord, is that the confirmed tracklist? *checks* ..... Oh wow.

Outside of the songs that were already previewed, those titles don't make the songs sound appealing at all haha.

But I gotta admit, neither does BALLAD. I guess we'll have to see how the songs come out because at the end of the day, that's all that matters.

(Also) After a song called "Bold & Delicious" and "Load of the SHUGYO," Ayu can name her songs whatever the hell she wants in my opinion.
