[Charts & Rankings] Oricon Thread -8th Generation-

[KarenPang]

I don't think GReeeeN will be posing a threat now that the 1st day sales of their 1st greatest hits album been announced

they debuted at #1 with only 52,452 copies sold as compared to LANDS's BANDAGE which moved about 90,615 copies which's impressive considering that BANDAGE's deemed a limited release pressing for both editions of the single

& the song rocks too they should include a B-side at least in the tracklist T_T

[SunshineSlayer]

^ Yeah, the first day sales for Greeen aren't that huge however I do think they will be very stable sellers, so we will have to wait and see.

[TITANIC]

Yaiiy.. so GReeeen isnt the threat for ayaka.. yuuppiiiieeee though I love both >.<

yeah & Shio Koshou's still selling . They need just like 1 month or so to cross the magic million mark

anyway I'm happy for LANDS . The single sold even better than what I expected on the 1st day

if sales doesn't drop that much in days to come , it might clear 250K in the 1st week

[TITANIC]

3 weeks to go before year end 2009. If GReeeeN best album can boost Shio koshou then they will hit 1 million the end of 2009. if not then 1st week of 2010 they will make a first million mark for their album

[TITANIC]

SINGLES
x->1->1 - LANDS - 90,615 + 52,033 = 142,648

x->3->3 - Porno Graffiti - 16,141 + 14,351 = 30,492

Rabid fan, much? Good Lord, sales numbers are just sales numbers. They only mean one thing: the number of people who bought an album. Not how good it is or whether or not people really love it (for all we know they could be reselling it on Yahoo Auctions or turning it into drink coasters). The Oricon chart is just basically a shallow popularity contest/measurement of trends/indicator of economic health.

I think the no. has been increased from 400 to 500 people that Oricon polls *points to EXILE

anyway I'm very happy for my BREAKERZ guys here . I have a feeling FIGHTERZ will do much much better than BIG BANG ! in every single level be it musically & chart position wise despite being up against EXILE D:

I can't wait to get my copy soon *_________*

[TITANIC]

Yaiiiyyy. Enya is over there...

who's the number 1 single?

Don't worry. I was completely joking, lol. ^^' But no, I'd just be upset if those two passed her because they don't deserve it nearly as much, in my opinion. :\

[Damita]

The #1 single is someone called Snow Prince (can't read the kanji) releasing the single "Snow Prince"...I'm guessing it's something JE lol

the band's name's called Snow Prince Gasshoudan & I'm assuming it's a temporary unit of Johnny's

the youngest member in the group's a mere 8 years old wtf and with the oldest being 13

the average group age is 10.5 years old, blasting all previous young groups Johnny's has had release a cd record. O_O

the single title's the same as the group's name & it's a song used to promote the Snow Prince movie

Yays
*Happy to see Becky on the NINKI. "Kokoro Komete" is a beautiful song.
*LANDS seems to be doing well, despite the single is limited.
*lecca is doing well to.

Boos
*Sad to see that May'n's mini-album is doing better than her studio album.
*Hope alan will make it back into the Top 10. Even though that seems impossible since she drops everyday.

Dear lord...how is such a young group predicted to be selling so well?

I know & it's so scary on how young they're , be it the youngest or the oldest in the group @_@

& no I don't plan to listen to them LMAO 8D despite being a Johnny's fangirl . This's just too much D:

Sorry, it's hard to tell over the Internet Anyway, I think dear Ayaka is safe for this year's chart. And even if she isn't, she's married to Hiro Mizushima for heaven's sake! What more does she need in life?
