You know this how? Unless she said "Oh lol, I wanted to use real cats but time ran out" then it was intentional. It goes to the fact that Shuya is denying his death is real, therefore, the scene is purposefully made to look fake and cheesy. What is real is a big concept the PV plays with imo, we're left not knowing exactly what's real until the very end, and everything in the PV goes to show us this

Also the trees in You were...: It would have probably cost less money and been quicker to buy a bunch of factory made white christmas trees, then to pay an art team to create the trees in You were.... Your argument is stupid.

^^ Obviously she didn't run out of time, everything so far has been released like two weeks prior to the release date and she recorded the PV forever ago. And like GRACE said, those "cardboard cutout" trees (which are obviously not cardboard XD) took a lot more effort than it would have taken to just buy some white Christmas trees that looked REAL.

yeah...if they were really rushed...

They could have just used stock footage of two black cats and pasted it in lol

I'm sure there's like no shortage of it.

Pretty sure they're fake because the scenes supposed to look fake...everything in it does. Two real cats there would have looked ridiculous and out of place.

Seriously the cats are one of my favourite parts of the PV. The atmosphere in that part and Ayu's expression give me the shivers (in a good way)

My problem with Shuya is that he's too soft.

Sure he's a pretty lady boy, so all the girls probably love him but in my opinion he's a COMPLETLE mismatch with Ayumi. She needs someone manly. At least her boyfriend in Distant Love was kinda tough.

I mean in BALLAD when Shuya collapses on the floor.. I just rolled my eyes. For me, THAT'S what ruined the PV.

I LOVED the cats though!! Totally added flavor the the PV, loved it!

^ actually, I think i agree with you. i've never really thought about it until I read your comment, haha. ayu herself is very feminine so it just doesn't seem like they would ever be a couple. too similar. actually, i think it would have been neat if you never even saw the boyfriends face, kind of like the "no way to say" video. you never see who santa claus is. or even "together when." it would have added a bit of mystery.

However, this isn't the thread to discus all that haha xD

and since i never mentioned it in my first post here, i'm not sure what to think about the cats being alive or not. because with the whole cat mask, i'm not sure what to think haha.

While I found Shuya acceptable in the PV, that was a low point for me too. It was like.. AT05, 06, 07, 08, 09 over again.

that's why I love it when Ayu hug Maro in the special screen at AT09 for Hope or Pain.feel like he's the one that can protect her and also Naoto's hug at AT06 for Rainy Day
