It seems like that she looks and sounds similar to Ayaka Iida (ayaka); here's a ayaka-Sayuri image comparison just to compare how similar they look:


It's really interesting that Sayuri's releasing her first-ever studio album! Hopefully she could be one of the best future artists I would ever see - this should be a good start to 2010. She might be the next ayaka, I should say - though it might take time for her to progress; her "Kimi ga Iru Kara" single (her latest) only got #13 in her weekly Oricon single rankings (with #9 daily her highest), but I think January 27th is a good date to pick. (At least her album is NOT releasing on the date Koda Kumi's "BEST ~third universe~"/"UNIVERSE" best/original studio album OR Kaela Kimura's "5years" best album - but I'm wondering...is there anyone else who is releasing an album on the same date of January 27, 2010?)

I can't wait for this album...

Haven't talked about Sayuri Sugawara for a while, especially when today in Japan it's the release day of her new album!!! Maybe we need some more talk, including CD-rip of the album and some magazine talk on Sayuri...

Ah i wish the album would leak, i'm waiting for it till days and i can't wait till my copy arrived, cause i love her singles & the previews of the album are incredible awesome, especially "Is This Love?" & "It's My Life"!

listenin to album finally, is this love is a nice surprise i didnt
except danceish tracks from her. its my life is kinda rockish, dont like that one.
alone... is a great track also! thrill is having little jazz elements, also nice surprise.
it sounds mature and finished. road of cherry blossoms is a beautiful track. chorus is lovely.
love is so weird, like JASMINE's CLUBBIN' weird lol... but more catchy in the chorus.
superstar☆ is so cute. she has more childish voice on this song, nice change from other tracks. ALWAYS is a cute finish <3
i mentioned only new songs, songs i heard already are all great...
so for me, only its my life is weak.
