This is a great shoot, but what the hell happened to her face in the 4th picture? Seriously. That does not even LOOK like Ayu. >.> The side picture they took of her with the same outfit looked so much better, and actually looked like her. That is just WAY too photo shopped. It is ridiculous. She doesn't need to look like a totally different person, she needs to look like herself.
There is no way she recognized herself on that picture. Did she even LOOK at these before they put them in the magazine? That 4th picture sure would have gotten the ax from me.

Oh, I'm soooooo madly in love with this shooting! I LOVE the outfit Ayu is wearing on the fourth and sixth picture! <33 But she also looks extremely sexy in the other pics! And her hair is WOW!

I'm sooooo going to buy this mag!!


And about the topic "Ayu is not looking like herself"...it's not Ayu's fault that people photoshop a lot of her pics. I don't see a reason for it, but others obviously do, that's the reason why she sometimes doesn't look like herself in some shootings!
If you look at other pics of her (lives or pics in her diary), then you will understand that she still looks like herself...!

Okay I know everyone who is famous and models is photoshopped and I usually don't complain but this is just really BAD photoshop. The photoshoppers must hate her and think she looks like crap. On the one where she looks the weirdest you can tell they even made her head smaller.

Other than that weird pic, I like the others.. especially where she's smiling and she doesn't look as pale as she did on the cover. The clothes are fantastic too. I'll bet they all look 10x better without photoshop. I hope they have a TA magazine soon that shows behind the scenes of this.

Awesome shoot, she's bringing back the whole Union Jack thing. The 4th pic is odd, but clearly a result of bad photography + overdone photoshop. Not something that should be too surprising these days.

I don't lol. She's one of those people who don't look like crap on the set of photo shoots (unless it's those S/S ones). An unphotoshopped version of that 4th one would look like her and probably better because it wouldn't be so awkward with the resizing of her head and face etc.

I think, Ayu is a really beautiful woman and she looks gorgeous, in my eyes. I don't understand why people do such things to her.

Maybe because it's a fashion mag and they want her to look flawless or something like that and don't realise that it is TOO much sometimes!!

That's the reason, why I'm always eager to see Ayu's diary pics, backstage pics or TA-magazine screencaps, because there she just looks real, like herself!

Same here, when I look at pics of her without make-up or behind the scenes she usually looks gorgeous, so I don't understand what type of people think that she needs as much photoshop as they give her. It's kind of offensive tbh

Normaly, she looks good. Why the magazin-people think, it is a good idea to make to much photoshop? Really bad.

this and those ViVi scans are my favorite ayu scans of this year so far! i love how outfits and look in this magazine! ayu just looks stunning! (although i agree that her face looks a bit weird on the 4th scan )

People can look dramatically diff based on how they fix up, makeup and hair, plus the other elements in the photo shoot can make anyone look dramatically diff. Despite her doll-like face, she's not a doll and has the same dynamic quality that people have.

I think what makes her look so different is the white balance and the angle she has her head turned, her eye makeup adds huge contrast. She does have veneers, compared to when she didn't in her Evolution days, and that does change her appearance a lil'. *mwah* (btw, I'm new here, nice 2 meet everybody!)
