BoA put out something like that a while back ago & that also didn't sell that well too

except for her case , it's a best album + her USA debut album

I suddenly find songs like SUPERSTAR, You're So Beautiful, No Way, Stay actually appear on my playlist more often than the more electro songs... :S
which is why im pleasantly surprised with this album. They're just relaxing to listen to...

m i the only one? Lol..im not saying the rest are bad..maybe its just my mood now. But at night, it's so nice to listen to the above songs actually.

UNIVERSE is definitely a grower. I find that even Stay & Comes Up which I hate before, are okay now. They are really good songs imo, but they pale in comparison compared to the rest of the album.

EDIT: And I can't get over how much of a earcandy No Way is.

Best Kuu song. EVER.

^Yes No Way is the most impressive since its preview. Ahhhhh..that preview was really nonsense hahaha. I seriously LOVE the song..and the mood is just perfect.

I don't know if this was already mentioned, but You're So Beautiful PV is #5 in Recochoku incoming movie ranking atm. ^^

Kuu managed to outsell Best+USA from BoA with her first day alone. So I don't think the sales are so bad for Kuu.

Guys, you forget that Kuu was at her peak about 2 years ago, then the scandal happend, CD sales are declining, the japanese economic isn't great as well... the sales aren't her best compared to her peak, but they're still good. Except for some rare exceptions (mostly Namie and boybands) all artists suffer. And Kuu had her best time already and is declining now. That's normal, cause every artist has up & downs in their careers.
Plus sales don't necessarily say something about the popularity. Kuu already has her mark in japanese music history. She doesn't need to care about sales anymore. So you shouldn't worry as well, guys. Well, at least not so much.^^

yeah I know where you're coming from Marika & you're right , sales at this day & age are secondary

I just wonder if the scandal during Kingdom era didn't happened at all , how will things turn out to be right now ?

I have a 6th sense but I don't have a crystal ball lol so yeah it's hard to tell what will happen if that scandal 2 years back didn't took place at all

I wouldn't say the scandal hurt her that much, especially with how much "MOON" sold. She was probably just due for a downfall.

anyway, Japan has different tastes than ours... for example, they LOVE Stay but I think that's like the weakest track on the album even if it's a sweet song...

and they don't like No Way. Like WHAT?! No way how can they not like No Way???!!!

I love "Stay" also but yeah how could they not love "No Way"? That song is amazing.

you are not the only one. i love the album, i only don't really like Alive only. i quite like those cheerful/mid tempo songs....i find my taste are getting more like japanese

nothing's wrong with Stay... I just thought it was quite weak compared to the rest of the album. But I think it's really catchy though ugh the chorus sticks in my head!

okay I must be the really weird person here then lol... nevertheless I would kill anyone who tries to say Work It Out! & No Way aren't the best album tracks.

Well, for me the best albums tracks are Step Into My World and UNIVERSE ^^"
Work It Out! and No way are nice (specially Work It Out!) but I liked all of the other albums tracks besides SUPERSTAR and Comes up better. XD

I think UNIVERSE has some of her best album tracks honestly... at least we don't get weird songs like Bling Bling Bling! I mean that song was good for lulz but I can't take it seriously as a song!

Yeah UNIVERSE got the better album tracks while TRICK got the better single tracks imo. ^^
