I am really digging UNIVERSE as an album. It became one of my favourites really quickly, I ADORE TRICK & Kingdom but they took ages to grow on me. UNIVERSE's songs are hella catchy (and not annoying as some of her other catchy songs: hello bling bling bling).

after listening to UNIVERSE nonstop, i can say that (out of the new tracks) i love no way, stay, comes up, you're so beautiful & universe. step into my world, superstar and work it out! are okay, but nothing really special.

the sales aren't bad for me, but then again, i was saying this last year for trick. kumi has been on a decline and there's no way shes going to sell like she did in her prime. her sales will eventually stop falling, i doubt there will ever be a day that she flat out FLOPS.

at least you know her material wouldn't like tanked or not even chart on Oricon as compared to her early days in the industry so it's better than nothing

yah i was expecting a word play like her previous albums (悻感王國, 悻感機密 etc)

but seems like the 悻感 is a bit overused

Total: *76,056 + *45,350 + *23,899 + *21,768 = 167,073

Kuu is still 7633 ahead of Kaela, so I think Kuu will make the No.1 weekly.
And the 4th day of it is better in sales than TRICK last year.

so we should probably expect it to sell around 205 000 - 210 000 copies the first week...thats not too bad. They always seem to stabilize around the 20k mark the last few days. Maybe there will be an increase like TRICK had.
