lol damn I hate myself for actually LIKING the tour name after a night's sleep! :O

I think it's funky now... hopefully the tour is gonna be equally funky! I would die if she performed a section of 1 LOVE/Marionette/alterna in like a totally circus-esque way... with freaky clowns, tightropes, fire and all omg

EDIT: If the cutesy section of the tour is gonna be anything like the one at Future Classics, then... wow

AHS is the world's biggest drama-producer over a spectacle's name ...
Anyway, I did like the title, and even though it's a bit early to speculate, I kinda relate it to the London wave Ayu's been experiencing, so I expect an interesting setlist rich of diverse songs like alterna, 1 LOVE and lots from the MY STORY and GUILTY eras...
And it would be interesting if she returned to the theaterical kind of show

Haha, well, I think people are reaching the boiling point when it comes to new Ayu news, and this is the result.

I would totally love for a theatrical-type of show this time around. You know, like how AT06 had rain and illusions, AT05 had snow and a spectacularly done opening... I feel like she's been holding back a little creatively since AT07, like the ASIA TOUR shows were meant to show Asian audiences what she's done in the past.

I can't believe I had to write this stupid post.
I can't believe it either!

Quote:
While I think Ayu's always been a bit of an experimental artist, I think she's been changing her music quite a bit these past few years. GUILTY's such a rock-based album, and she hasn't really done that before. With NEXT LEVEL, she's experimenting with dance and techno and other new things, and, like GUILTY, she hasn't really done that before.

Other changes include being deaf in one ear, and then her going on two tours of Asia and going to Europe to film videos and CMs... lol
Well, if this was directed at my "lack of change" statement, I meant to say that the Ayu that we see now is very much like the Ayu of 2006 if you strip away the music/concerts/everything... but musically, she's been changing it up since 2005, with the exception of Secret. (GEO of SWEETBOX on (m)u, GUILTY being so dark, NEXT LEVEL trying to dabble in electro, etc...) Since 2006 though, she definitely has become more "international" going to places like Miami, Venice, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei, etc... and she's also lost some people since then as well. (Tomoya Nagase as a boyfriend, the friend who passed away before GUILTY was finished, Bacchi who passed away...)

I personally don't mind playback as long as it's kept down to 2-3 songs and during those songs she has an excuse for it like extreme move busting or, she needs a little help with vocals she can't really reach anymore, or something. but just like how i can't taste a difference in diet and regular soda *its all kidney stones waiting to happen anyways lol* I can't tell when playback is used unless it's completely obvious like angels' song mishap hehe. besides its not like playback makes me love a concert any less.

have you seen Leah's Communication!!! Tour?
it's just...
i don't love her any less or anything, but i just couldn't take the fact that only like 3-4 out of like 15 or 17 songs were lip-synced.
it takes the whole feeling of the word "live" out of it.

at least ayu doesn't do it much.
and when she does do it, like you, i don't really notice.

If she will perform alterna with like evil clowns or something though, that will score like a million gazillion points for me.

I'll echo the opinion that I think we might see a rehash of the cutesy section from the CDL though.
Yeah, I wonder how she'll open the show. I'm hoping it'll be really dark like alterna/1 LOVE and she starts with some sort of JUST 1 LOVE or HEY HEY HEY-ish thing after the introduction movie.

The cutesy section... I don't know. PCDL08-09's cutesy section wasn't redone in AT09, but then again she was a princess queen with fairy wings in that one, haha.

Major CDL rehashing seemed to happen with PCDL and AT09 because she possibly spent part of AT09's budget on creating a bigger concert than usual (more outfits?) and thus, they reused them and the context in the tour. If she does do the cutesy section, I want to see it done with some different outfits. Less WTF-clowns and more scary-clowns a la alterna and 1 LOVE.

I don't think we'll remember something like that... you should probably just making a winking smiley and everyone will know what you're talking about.

Too much judgement on the tour, with nothing but a title to judge it on :/

I'm pretty neutral so far, until I start seeing a logo, tracklist, etc.

^did someone really say that? o_0
if so, that's pretty foolish...

she better have some new arrangments of old songs.
hasn't anyone noticed she almost never rearranges a song when she performs live?
i haven't watched Future Classics yet but i hear there were some new rock arrangements? i gotta check that out.

Sunrise is the biggest one I think. Most people didn't even know what song it was until she began to sing.

Yeah it really wasn't until people pointed it out that I noticed at all. I was so blind to it all theme for a-nation '03 was live to me.

Honestly, Ayu doesn't do it enough for me to care at all what so ever. When she turns into Britney Spears, then I'll worry. But until then lip sync away baby, you're still my #1!

ive only been here like a month and that seems true in a joking sense lol

i hate over-dramatic drama (isnt that redundant)

ive never seen people take a title so seriously. its almost like its as important as the song. the title can whatever. i just want a good song. and for me (As a person whose liked everything ive seen of ayu since i really became a big fan in late 2008) i think everything she does as far as titles turns out well ^___^

love love love. . .
(im just too anti-negative arent i. . .i just dont like hate and arguments. theyre the causes of like any mass atrocity) idk maybe im too young to understand the purpose in relentless trying to prove ones point

well anywayz. i love the title. . .i just wanna hear more songs is all

I hope she doesn't look too much over 30 as she's only about 31 now!

I get what you mean though, Ayu has a pretty versatile look...Judging from the SCawaii shots she'll pull off something fantastic. I'm amazed that she's pretty much a blank canvas for photoshoots

Anyway, thinking too much about the name of the tour and what it *could* mean as far as songs, sets, costumes etc is just setting yourself up for disappointment. The tour won't be how you envision it as it's Ayu's vision and not ours.

With all the angst/drama and people reading too much into others' posts AHS doesn't need trolls...it has its very own army right here.

remember BALLAD? how everone hated the title?
nobody's complaining now, huh?

Good point, baby. Most people will probably call it AT10 anyway xD;

So anyway let's redirect to a more positive route, no?

Which song, rock or otherwise, is everyone hoping Ayu will perform? I'm definitely praying for alterna! AT06 WAS NOT ENOUGH!!!

[edit]

Also Memorial address, she sang teddy bear after all, why not Mem add?

not evolution, unite, surreal, boys and girls, or audience.

I'm really hoping for anything sinister. Because of you, ourselves, game, marionette (I actually don't like this song but I'm sure it would be great with this type of theme) kiss o kill, alterna, will (meh, it kind of has that twisted feel i guess), sparkle, heartplace, talkin 2 myself, hope or pain, criminal, liar, guilty.

^I still am. Don't like the song or the title. Of course that's just one song. And I'm sure hearing the album as a whole might change my mind on that.

^It works the other way around too. I still think "Next Level" is a pretty kick ass album name, when i first found out the name, but now, its really on the bottom of my list of favorite albums.
