I won't consider that too much to TIE UP Lady GaGa.
As GaGa has become a "shocking style icon".this is hard to avoid.
I can just understand in one way
ayu's is not another copy in Sexy little things
But her actresses and actors in her PV is.
This condition resembles Ladies Night.

Seeing the preview just brings up GaGa in my head. Not copying. Not stealing. Not plagiarizing. Just reminding.

Yes, I must say I hate when other members go and bash people for having opinions. But to me it seems like the only reason people are saying it isn't GaGa is because they feel it's what they have to say to defend Ayumi. GaGa similarities does not mean Ayu is a terrible person and artist and unoriginal. I think that's what everyone is taking it as and that is not what I'm saying at all.

The relationship that Alexander McQueen has with Gaga is bound to circulate when people see other artists using his specific designs in their productions.

It's not rocket science.

I personally thought of him and his collection when I first saw the outfits.

That's my pov since I pay attention to fashion. Other people will see other things, other people will see complete originality.


In any sense, people saying Ayu copied = stupid. People insulting Gaga because they think she's overrated = just as stupid.

ayumi is not a worldwide sensation and she wasn't at her peak. she is mainly famous throughout asia. lady gaga has touched all over the world and has many worldwide number one hits. that's why people say lady gaga is bigger than ayumi.

Lady GaGa is famous worldwide not only because her talent ..is famous becase she belong to the USA music indutry..and USA industry have the money and the power to make any kind of artist (trash or not) famous in a worldwide way, the same with the movies, the same with clothes...etc.

You can say what you want, but that Ayu is using some exact same outfits as GaGa (like the X-factor Bad Romance outfit) is pretty lame IMO. There are so many outfits out there, use some other ones. The red skinny dress thing is amazing, use more original ones like those.

I guess people compare them not because the PV itself is weird. To ma Lady GaGa represents costumes that don't fit, oversized, non-standard, plastic, etc, they seem like those first future-like costumes from the 70's. Even though Ayu had some huge dresses they were always exaggerated but in normal standards and looking good. Now I look at Sexy Little Things PV and I don't see Ayu style weird clothes, but typically GaGa style weird clothes: they are too huge, distort the silhouette and go with hairstyle that is looking far too fake (I'm thinking about the black & white clothes with pony tail from the PV).

I don't mind reviving some styles from the past, but I don't like it when two or more stars do it at the same time, why did she have to do it right now when GaGa is already doing it too? Because it's popular, "people like it at the moment, so let's do it" kind of thinking.

I don't think Ayu is copying. So what if she happens to use outfits from a few FAMOUS designers? That makes her a copycat? Ayu did weird stuff/make up/clothing/PV's way before GAGA was around. People need to realize this. I've said this before. Obviously people are going to beat this into the freaking ground.

This. It's only because the U.S. shoves everything they produce in everybody's face. It's hard not to have at least heard her name whenever they try hard as they can to toss it into every media around the world. If GaGa came from Japan, she would have never gotten to be one tenth as popular as she is now, and comparing her to Ayu would be like comparing......Ne-Yo to Michael Jackson. (Random, I know, sorry. >_>)
Japan not only doesn't care about making it outside of the country, but they often even don't want to. Ayumi obviously doesn't care about making it out of Asia, and we know she'd be fine if she was only known in Japan. But despite all that, she has tens, maybe even hundreds, of thousands of Westerners, alone, who know her name. That's a very impressive accomplishment, something that GaGa could only dream of achieving.
