Ayu on list of possible Jpop artists for concert in Taiwan

According to China Times in Taiwan, a company that was on the business of selling Japanese Drama rights has transformed to focus on being agent for concert, and intented to invite 6 artistes to sing in Taiwan.
The first concert has been confirmed and the artist will be Amuro Namie. She will be singing in Shin Zuan Stadium on May 1st and 2nd. President Enterprise will be the sponsor for this concert.

As the record holder of highest selling single in Taiwan, the price for the most expensive tier will cost 2500 New Taiwan Dollar, followed by 1800, 1500 and 1000 for those who need a more ecomonical ticket.

Apart from Namie, the orgainsor has annouced that they want to organise a total of 6 concerts this year. Winds and Hamasaki Ayumi is also on the list of artiste to be invited. According to them, Taiwan has been the most important stronghold for oversea's Jpop market. But to counter with the advance of the "Korean Wave", artiste's management agencies in Japan is now willing to let first class artistes to take the first step for holding concert oversea.

Implication of this news report

According to a Japanese BBS posting, the artises managment was interested to let Ayu hold asia tour in 2003, but that was put off due to SARS, and the poster hope that it would be possible to hold concert in June.
