Since these numbers are from ORICON, tag on an extra couple hundred thousand per every album - and even a couple million or so, for the albums during her peak - and major single (and a bit less for regular singles, of course). And THEN you'll get about the actual sales for Japan alone. Because ORICON highly underestimates physical sales (we won't even go into sales in general, including digital, lol), at least for the biggest artists. Even NEXT LEVEL sold a few hundred thousand more in Japan than what ORICON says.

or we could go by the sales Avex reports, instead of oricon. the numbers would be a lot different.

one thing for sure is that i think oricon has reported she has pass the 50million. and seeing in the clip that i posted where the asian chick said she had sold over 5million that year, i wouldnt be surprise if the sales would be just about what she has sold in japan, most likely less but not that far apart.
