I'm going to stick my input on the subject here. I guess. The subject being the Moments PV. I thought it was wonderful. Another awesome release from the great Ayumi. However, the "plot" of the video kind of escapes me. The pale Ayu with the odd eye makeup looks as to have been crying for a while with mascara on, doesn't it? I think that the longhaired Ayu represents herself now, tired and worked out. And the children represent her fans, fighting over "the dolls aka her". Its a theory, but I think that the Tarred Ayu might be a tarred and feathered Ayu, naked and revealing.
Argh. That was confusing. Anyways; to sum it all up; I think the PV means; "I am lost in myself, but my heart still burns, even when I'm in the worst of times." If that made sense. HAVE A COOKIE.. Zeo EDIT// NEW INPUT!  Anyways; at the "end of the dream", I think that the kids all turn to mannequins. You can see like 5 of them after Ayu smiles, and then just closes the door. It may be that what she was looking was happiness; seeing as the kids seems so happy, and yet the flowy Ayu would've ruined the room, with her gloomy looking..attitude looking typeness."I'll be anything If it can make you never be controlled by fear" I think that this represents the whole Tar+Ayu thing. Because; to be anything for your sake, so you won't be controlled by fear, can sometimes mean to suffer dire consequences for your protecting heart. And all that. But eeeh. Zeo again.

You people look to hard for a video meaning. Why study it for so long? I just watched and it looked like she had down syndrome or her eyes were upside down when she was in her pink gown. Her eyes definately weren't the rightside up. And be it that it's suppose to bethat she is just waking up in her dream, she definately looks freaky in the morning. Oh man she looks weird like that,
She was definately dreaming, when I first saw that first thing I thought of was "this is just like Surreal" and what do you know? It's just like Surreal. It's okay I guess... still hasn't beaten my Rainbow favorite. Maybe if the song sounded better or something... but yeah... her eyes... I should put that for my avatar. But really... why do people look so hard and deep into this PV? Granted it's because you like it and want to study it or something... but usually(at least for me) when I get into something it ruins it. I pick it apart find the meaning and when I find the meaning all the flaws are shown as well and it ruins it. Like in Rainbow, when she first catches up to herself andp uts her hand on her face then when it zooms out to th two, her hand isn't touching the other's face and her finger tips go thru herself. Minor things like that I see all the time now in the PV vs the first 100 times I saw it I didn't notice it. Oh well... good luck with the meaning of it. Can't say it's a solid meaning since no one here produced the PV.

Hmm....this PV was a bit odd to me. I understood why there were flowers and feathers (the flower and bird mentioning in the lyrics), but I don't really know what the tar stood for.
Like a few others have noticed, Ayu's face is really pale and her mascara looks a bit smeared....was she crying before, and then fell asleep? I'm not too sure about the freaky kids and the mannequin dolls being ripped apart. All I can say overall is that this PV is full of symbolism, which I don't really know too much about yet. Sybolism is a secret to Ayu's PVs, which drag her fans behind her in awe. All in all though, this PV was really good, but not as good as other PVs, like RAINBOW. I really like this one though. Ayu doesn't look too fat now...  OH....BTW.....is it just me or is Ayu's hair long again? Is it a wig if not?

though i was wondering if there really is much of a meaning  maybe ayu just likes to get messy, or wants ppl to think there is a meaning but really its not!! i bet they are all just messing with our heads.....^,^

That is very funny vinneh. But actually, believe it or not, it actually kinda makes sense, because if you REALLY stretched it, the PV COULD mean that...which only goes to prove that....... This PV is all up for interpretation. No one knows what it really means (if it does mean anything) other than Ayu. These are all gueses. Fun and games. My input is that everything seems to be dolls. The children are playing with dolls in a little dollhouse that appears to be Ayu's bedroom. Then the children break the doll, and there is a sorta "broken" Ayu lying in the tar. Then the kids themselves turn into dolls, and later, we see the kids jumping around and having fun in Ayu's room. Then, we see around 4 broken dolls lying around in the dollhouse shaped as Ayu's room (the kids) Somewhere in the PV, there is a flame. I guess it can mean the lantern, but it contributes to the suggestion someone made about how the house burned down and Ayu was the only one that survived...

well in my interpretation the pv shows someone who doesnt have anyone to love to... just like her... (she got no pop rite?) and it shows that the girl is lonely... she wants someone who can love her and if theres someone.. she would be anything to make him smile... thats so touching pvt... it reminds my heart... now im feeling those... the differences is im a man seeking a man (lol)

She's just a little doll in a big doll house.. There is something going on behind each door... thats why when she walked down the hall, you hear noises behind the doors... She choose the one with the sounds of children laughing, thinking it would be the right one, but not It looks like everything os happy, paradise, but it isn't. The children playing with the doll house, controling her and what goes on. (those dolls looked like the Real Me dolls) Ayu is just a little doll, no soul, no heart. Doesn't know what to do. She should of picked the door with the one with her covered in tar and feathers. Behind that door, was her if she stayed there. Without wings, flightless... She looked to us, to see what future we hold for her

I thunk longhaired ayu is a ghost because of the make up.
Also, longhaired Ayu wear the same cloth as the ayu in tar and sleeping(you can look at the making of PV) I think it represent something... Or there are two ayu exist in the same time and place Last edited by yamogi; 24th March 2004 at 10:34 AM.
