I'm kinda disappointed by Taeyang's comment and tantrums in the Oh! performance.

I know it's the producers' fault by refusing to let her re-sing/re-record the Kelly Clarkson performance, but I thought it was really unprofessional & childish to throw tantrums because of that in a live performance. : /

And she's the leader? I'm really ticked by this because leaders don't behave like this; if the leader is already like this, what can we expect from the rest of the group?

Taeyeon is cute and she has an amazing voice, but this whole incident was inappropriate. Oh well..

she may be a bit rude, but well, i understand her, she was completely upset, her voice was so off all the perfomance. And well, she didn't say nothing bad, just asked music bank to provide singers more conducive environment,to allow them to sing properly

umm nobody's trolling? her comment was fine but it was totally unprofessional to be so bratty in her performance of Oh! not only was it disrespectful to the other members who were giving their all in the performance, but it was disrespectful to the fans!! instead of trying her best in the performance she just completely gave up and totally brought down what could've been a totally cool performance. even if she was upset, she's in an idol group and you're expected to behave a certain way! it doesnt matter if u think it's stupid or not, that's the way the cookie crumbles and that's why she's getting bashed so much right now.

i don't think she should've been worrying that much about sounding off in a performance. she's already proved that she can sing. if i were her, i'd much rather have 1 bad performance than have millions of people bashing me for being rude and disrespectful and adding more to my already tarnished reputation.

she also could've picked a better time to voice her complaints instead of doing it during such a special time like an acceptance speech but i won't even get into that! it totally brought down the mood and i hope she apologizes.

im not blaming her 4 what she did or what she felt. but there is a time and place 4 things like that and it is not one of them. she needs to realize what her job is and how important keeping up appearances is!!

maybe so. I watched the Oh! performance and if she's sounding bad there it's definitely not the mic's problem.

I mean personally I just thought the tantrum during a live performance was uncalled for and really childish too, but oh well, I would get pissed off at the producers if it was me too

me too! it was also a special stage with members of a bunch of different groups who are all very busy! they can't stay back to re-record it over and over and ruin their schedules and be late for other events because she was upset that she went off key for a few seconds at the very end of the song.

^^ the problem wasn't the mic but the ear thing, and she couldn't hear hersef, and that's even worse
and well, re-recordings are made like in every program, it's the normal thing, thats the good thing about pre-recorded lives
all the fault is of the producers

I'm sure Taeng will be highly criticize for speaking up. But I found her really brave to say what's on her mind. I'm not being bias towards her. She didn't said it in a rude, unprofessional way. I hope people aren't going to misunderstand kid leader. She's human after all. From rumors, it is said that her in-ear thing wasn't working properly near the end in the Kelly Clarkson's cover and that it was off. She asked the PD if they could re-do the performance and they said no.

Anyway. Don't blame Taeng and say that she's a bad example to the other members of SNSD and that she's a bad leader. She already has difficulties copping with being the leader of SNSD. No need to bring her down like that.

I figured I can't comment on the incident until I saw the video.

So I watched it and this was my reaction:

In words, I am thinking this:

Any disagreement or feelings of being upset that Taeyeon had should DEFINITELY not have been expressed in that performance, because she put herself before the group which I think was not right. Other performers have been sick/hurt/fallen down DURING a performance, and just get back up and keep going.

I think it would have been better for her to have done the performance with the same level of energy and professionalism that the others did.

For her to make a comment on the stage/environment, I am glad that she expressed her mind. However, it may have been better timed when she was not on the show, and later on her website or another outlet.

Overall, she stuck out like a sore thumb, and it really made the performance not as enjoyable.

I hope that in the future, she will wait until afterward to express her anger and frustration, and not during a performance that her entire group has practiced and worked hard to deliver to the fans.
