Thoughts on "MOON ~short edit~"?

The short version is just boring, i have a feeling that the whole pv will be apic, awsome super good!

I sincerely hope everyone who's saying the full version will be better/more epic/more exciting is right.

In my opinion, I don't think it's too farfetched to judge it on this "short edit". It's not like some 15-30second preview that we often get, in which case I can understand why people would be annoyed at someone criticizing it. But we got 3 minutes out of a song that's only going to be 4-5 minutes long. I'm not saying there's absolutely no hope for it, I mean I really do hope the full PV is epic and awesome and stuff And I wouldn't put it past Ayu~ All I can say is that *so far* I'm not impressed with what I see.

Oh well, we'll see what comes from the full PV

For me, IT'S TOO SHORT TO JUDGE IT. Last minutes, decisive scenes usually made me like/love music video which has a story. We got first 2 minutes, opening for the most important moments. So it's like we don't anything about this PV yet. Can't wait for full version to be aired/leaked.

The climax of the PV is not there. Therefore, it is too early to say the whole thing is "boring" when you have not seen the whole video.

Its fine to say that the short edit seems boring, but you'd have to reserve judgment on the PV as a whole until you see it all.

I liked it I don't care that there isn't much of a developed narrative or whatever going on, it looks good, Ayu's beautiful, there's meaning to match the song...
I mean, so many other artists out there have this kind of 'boring' one or two scenes PVs as well, but they don't take away my audio or visual enjoyment if the song and the PV suit each other. At least there doesn't seem to be any awkwardness like in Mirrorcle or GREEN.

And I'd have to disagree with the 'ordinary' comment. It's not spectacular (for now at least), but it's distinctly Ayu. Reminds me of Moments and Marionette too, which are great PVs.

i myself am super pumped for the PV...I want to know what's lingering at the end.
come on, when DLB's first one minute aired...you'd think i fell in love with it? sheesh

its not as though Ayu filmd two seperate versions...its just CUT..
people are putting it as though there's a STILL version and DRAMA version

that's just what we're hoping. one room pvs are never that great. imo slt would have been more interesting if it took place in more than one room. same with dlb.

I don't understand people who are responding to the "it's boring" comments with "it's not the whole PV!" The thread is about thoughts on the short edit. Not the whole PV that isn't even out yet. Why is that so hard to understand? People are getting upset over their own misunderstanding.

At any rate, I can barely remember the PV. And for me, that means that I didn't find it interesting. All I can remember is her sitting in a chair. And her sitting in the chair some more.

I was really caught by the song, however. I was actually very impressed by it, and I like it quite a bit. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest.

Some of Ayu's ballad PVs are kinda boring...but as long as I love the song.....I probably will love the PV

And MOON is looking like Moments which is one of my favorite PV

So I can't wait for the full PV

Ah~ I don't feel like waiting a week to make final judgements on this pv. It looks so cool. Like no tackyness.

*sigh* and maybe the constant pessimism (all hlaf of ayu fans seem capable of) will stop if its awesome
I hope that if it has a real story or deep meaning.
And not a bunch of weird scenes with no other purpose than to be weird and wannabe creepy

I loved how it looked old fashioned! She looked beautiful in that dress!
I agree with mcluva420! The surroundings and the lighting in the video were similar.
In the beggining i didnt see her until she moved heR head up. I thought she was a pillow XD

It's just like DLB.

The first 2 minutes constitute basically Ayu sitting in a chair at every possible angle you can think of.

Then in the last 2 minutes, in DLB, she has this super-climax.
I expect the same in MOON, where the last 2 minutes show the ink scene.

the short edit is absolutely horrendous... Kthx for having 2.5 minutes and having most of it being a snorefest.

However the little flashbacks and hints do increase the suspense... I can't wait to watch the FULL PV!
