I wonder if that explains why I'm not really feeling it... It kind of has the instrumentation of something like RED LINE or older songs from A Song for xx. Those all had to grow on me a lot...

...but a song is born, I've always hated. So I wonder if it's just this composer I don't like. xD

With this particular (extremely prolific) composer, you can't tell if you like him or not from these two stylistically similar songs... I do urge you to listen to more of his compositions. His style goes all over the board, and his 90's work is pretty consistently catchy.
