and if that was the date when he left her and her mother, why would she bring that up all suddenly with memorial address the album? wouldn't have she done it long before? I think its pretty obvious the album is somehow dedicated to the actual death of her father.

I wouldn't doubt it, you know how whenever a celebrity has an estranged relative once its made common knowledge everyone and their mother claims to be said relative.

Idk it could be about an old friend whom she lost contact with for a long time and then was phoned about their death.

But it could be about anyone, maybe its about her half brother or her secret baby's death. Who knows. Maybe someone should tweet and ask her so we'd finally know.

Edit: Oh and whoever said July 1st is about her dad. In an interview she said the song is about how her and some of her friends used to visit the same place every year on that date.
