Why did she stop doing winter albums anyway? It's because of A COMPLETE isn't it?

I actually hope she would take a break after the 7 Days Break and focus on a new album for next year or something; as in no more singles for a while.. wouldn't make sense to have 4/5 singles before an album anyway, this isn't 2001 or what anymore.. lol

I think a Winter album is very possible with her current work pattern. I doubt there'll be another single after L (we already have 6 a-sides) which will be out of the way by the end of this month and the Tour Final. That leaves the rest of October, November, and some of December to get an album ready and she's been recording like crazy so I wouldn't be surprised if she already has some album tracks stashed somewhere. So if not December then February is very possible imo.

EXACTLY! I only allowed myself to download one song and it ended up being Humming 7/4, lol. I liked it. But finally when Christmas came I was ready to burst. After we had opened all our presents, my mom had a little scavenger hunt she sent us on, with clues about stuff around the house. The hunt ended with me in the bathroom finding a huge heavy box. I opened it, and inside was a giant dictionary used just to throw me off from what was inside and it was MY STORY! Best Christmas ever and probably one of the many reasons I cherish MY STORY as my favorite Ayu album. Plus, the album versions of my name's WOMEN were absolutely heavenly! I hated the previews of them from the CMs they were featured in!

that's a cute story I adore MY STORY a lot too, and I love the classical version.

To be honest, I dun get any x'mas feeling at all from MY STORY. It felt more like a self portrait album to me. So I wasn't really excited when I got MY STORY.

I do hope for another (m)u. Even tho some of the songs suck, but I still like the holiday feeling... And it's one of her experimental albums (even tho Japanese hated it... )

yeah..i'm thinking..like ever since A COMPLETE came out, it changed her album release schedule, like how NEXT LEVEL came out in march and now Rock'n'Roll Circus in april..maybe avex didn't want NEXT LEVEL to be released too close to A COMPLETE, so they decide to move it as distant as possible which was the last day of fiscal year 2008 or 2009, after that i guess they kept with the album releases in spring, i also think that there maybe many strong competitors releasing albums in the winter and with what happened with kobukuro, avex doesn't want to take another risk with winter albums?

I think he is just refering to the fact that A COMPLETE was released in Fall, and it was deemed impossible by everyone for her to release a winter album, and of course that's what happened. We waited forever for a single that year... She only had Mirrorcle World, which she didn't include finally on NL, so there was no way she could have done the winter album...

After that the schedule was thrown off, and shifted the album release dates to spring.

i would love it to be released around christmas time. things are so exciting and fun around that time. a new ayu album would make it even better.

Definitely a self-portrait album. Not saying it has a Christmas feeling. Just saying the suspense around Christmas time really adds to the anticipation of the album. I didn't like when (m)u was released - that was after Christmas and on X'mas Day all I got was a printed out piece of paper in an envelope showing me that my Mom had ordered it and it would come when it was released. So I still had to wait. Lol.

Well, we already know that she has created a lot more songs than the single songs we have now, so... even if she does decide to have more singles, or decides to do an album, the songs are pretty much almost all finished (I would believe... she's been recording and creating a whole bunch of new songs lately, as in the past 2 weeks or so) so it wouldn't matter if she took a break after 7 Days battle at Yoyogi... and knowing Ayu, she will immediately start planning for CDL after the 7 days...

I for one hope she doesn't take a break... we have this new and improved voice of hers, and she is looking more energetic and confident than ever... it feels like a new era of Ayu music, and I'm excited and ready for a lot of new releases... I hope.
