crossroad and L in Singapore

So, since Singapore HMV are now bringing in J-Pop CDs on the release dates again, I'm beginning to trust them again so hopefully, crossroad will be out on Wednesday and L on the following week!

HMV
Both CD Only versions, Japan press. Cost: $22.95. NO poster.
CD+DVD version, Hong Kong press. Cost: $18.95. NO poster.

gramophone
CD+DVD version, Hong Kong press. Cost: $19.95. NO poster. Part of the "3 for $49.90" promotion.

L
HMV
Both CD Only versions, Japan Press. Cost: $26.95. NO poster.
Both CD+DVD versions, Hong Kong press. Cost: $18.95. NO poster.

I used to buy CDs online. But will try to get it from HMV this time round. So do they normally give the first press bonus, like posters to the purchaser? o.o

Haha i think Kpop has helped in a way that now they pay more attention to Jpop AND Kpop releases. We'll see. Please update this thread

I can't even recall when HMV gave posters for singles o_o

album wise , I believe the last time I got a free poster was when GUILTY was released (which I sold them away eventually on here)

if you want to get the 1st press posters if you order crossroad & L , then it's still your best bet to get them online

they do give out first press items though. But that was the RAINBOW album which I've brought and got a metal cup coaster.

I got posters for Rule/Sparkle. Both the CD+DVD cover and the manga Ayu poster was given if you buy the Japan press. And there was a first press poster given for Rock'n'Roll Circus.

However this time I doubt that there will be a poster given. None was given for You were.../BALLAD and MOON/blossom so I'm thinking that they might not bring it in but we'll see.

Umm no. It was because of K-Pop in Singapore that slowed down the importing of J-Pop CDs. That's why I lost faith in them for a period of time. It took them more than 2 weeks to bring in a Johnny's single, which is their money bringers for the J-Pop listeners, a few months back.

And yes, I'll update this thread when we get news about it.

Apparently HMV has crossroad on shelves already. I believe it's the CD only versions and is the Japan press. Didn't call them to check about price and poster availability though.

I called HMV Somerset earlier on

yup , both CD Only's editions of crossroad are in but wah it's S$26 each @_@

which I'm surprised cos I thought it might be priced at S$20.95 which's the price being quoted for both CD only's of MOON / blossom but nope :O

no poster is given unfortunately ~_~

I thought S$26 only applies to other singles that they don't usually bring in that much stock (like 1 piece or so) but for it to apply to ayumi .... man that's quite a slap in the face :O

i think the higher price is because they are carrying lesser copies as compare to before... that why they raise the price

Both CD only's editions were brought in & no poster is given

lol I called HMV Somerset earlier on to enquire about the HK presses for both singles

they said they might have take a few months to get stock in ~_~ & chances for it to be brought in/sold here so far are quite slim :S

well whatever , I just tell them to call me when stock for the CD + DVD's editions in ... whatever that will happen

prices are still the same as what it's stated on the 1st post

all 3 are selling for S$18.95
