And the latest one was released in 2003. How is it fair in any way to hold her to those standards?

then maybe it's NOT smart at all do release CDs during a tour.. I mean, they'll get money out of it, of course; but people who buy the CD there, won't buy it at the store; meaning they it will be a disadvantage to the sales.

I really don't think the record companies care that much about what sales Oricon reports, it's the profits that matter. Where they get these, they don't care : P

fair enough since it consists of more songs than normal. most artist have the same story, look at Namie Amuro (60s70s80s) and Koda Kumi (4 hot wave) for example.
L deserve higher sales than MOON/Blossom and Crossroad
