Ayu's Fashion Impact

I just realized that Ayu is very commonly mentioned as a fashion trend setter. So, can you guys explain/post pictures of exactly what created a new fashion trend? Thankss!

^ Lol I looked at my sig again and was like "Oh, she's right!" xD
Is it just her whole look in my sig pic or is it specific accessories?

I believe she helped make blonde, curled hair popular?
And I think a lot of girls/women just look to her in general for style tips and such...Like, things that are 'in' this season, what accessories to wear with what outfit, things like that.

She inspired a certain look... hime-kei, Japanese girls dress like her, and have blond, curly hair.

Nishino Kana's entire image seems to be a modification of the look that Ayu created in 2000.

Modification? She is not doing anything new, Kana Nishino it's a direct copy from Ayu.

I think it was just her style in general.

They used to say that people would pay thousands of yen just to find out what look ayu was sporting next in a magazine.

I don't think it was anything super specific, you know, how people talk about Namie and her boots, and whatever.

It was just, everything lol

The style is believed to have been influenced by singer Ayumi Hamasaki but has since developed in its own unique way.

Me too! I believe the brown hair made her look more natural and younger. =)
